Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) openly doubted that former President Donald Trump would show up to the presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, scheduled for Tuesday.

In an interview at TribFest, the former House speaker was asked what advice she would give the former president regarding the debate, then joking that the two are “close.”

“Do you think he’s gonna show up?” Pelosi responded.

Considering Butler, is there an implied threat there?

Seeing the seeming effort to slough off responsibility for the events in PA in July, I think the Feds are trying to say that 'Butler did it'. Miss Marple would be aghast.

Or perhaps Harris will cancel the debate blaming Trump for wanting to re-negotiate the rules of the debate.

She's baiting Trump, trying to get him worked up.  He needs to ignore all that and stick to current issues and where we are heading.  He needs to forget he was President already and come in to this as the newcomer.

But the goading is plain. She wants everybody to be pissed off enough to line up for Tumpy.

Classic Democrat projection. Democrats ALWAYS accuse Republicans of doing EXACTLY what they are currently doing or what they plan to do. Pelosi also said that Trump's constant giggling and cackling is turning off voters and she wonders why he refuses to give an interview to ANYONE including his own staff.

Next she will accuse Trump of stabbing Biden in the back with a coup that forced Biden out of the election.
