I saw the shooting on live TeeVee.  When I told Mrs Liberty about it, I said, "I think I just saw a real live Miracle!  He should not have survived that shot."
It is not over yet. They will keep trying. The more he wins, the more they will up the bounty.
After the debate will be especially dangerous for Trump.

All the "Hitler" talk, and "threat to democracy" stuff, is all laying groundwork for their justification to kill him.
"He is a threat to OUR way of life!!"

I suspect the next attempt will be a bomb of some kind. They cannot have another 'miss'.
And the people around him who may be killed will be portrayed as just 'sacrifices to the greater cause'. They will be shown on TV as heroes, while all the MSM repeats on loop how their deaths are all Trump's fault.

You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

Harris-Walz Surrogate: Debate Will Be About ‘Style,’ Trump’s ‘Bullying’, Not Her Flip-Flops

Ian Hanchett 10 Sep 2024

On Monday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America Reports,” Harris-Walz Campaign Surrogate Delaware Gov. John Carney (D) said that he doesn’t think there will be a lot of focus from voters on 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris’ numerous policy flips during the debate, and that while she must be “consistent,” “it’s going to be a question of style, of the bullying of” 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump.

Co-host John Roberts asked, “She does have an issues page up on her website now. But it really only seems, in some degree, to highlight the flip-flops that she’s had from her original policies that she was espousing back in 2019, everything from rejecting the EV mandate, to a border wall, to decriminalizing border crossings — but there’s not really much on that on her issues website — Medicare for All — as we were just discussing — mandatory gun buybacks, fracking, offshore drilling, even reversing yourself on a plastic straw ban. This is going to be fodder for a lot of questions tomorrow night. How do you think she’ll be able to handle the fact that she has so drastically changed, she’s done 180s, Governor, on a lot of this stuff, how will she be able to defend or explain her evolution, if you will, on these policies?”

Carney answered, “I actually don’t think there’s going to be a lot of attention — maybe for some — attention on those specific issues. I’ve been knocking on doors all over our city recently, and I don’t hear much about any of those issues. I think it’s going to be a question of style, of the bullying of former President Trump…he referred to the Mike Tyson comment [about] surviving a punch in the face. He’s going to try to punch the Vice President in the face and we’ll see how that goes over. And I think her challenge is to hold her ground, to be consistent, and to lay out for the American people, or at least the narrow portion of the American people who haven’t decided yet who they’re going to support in the election.”

Roberts then said that he thinks Trump wasn’t talking about literally punching Harris and was talking about how people go into debates with plans, until they get metaphorically hit.

Trump campaign reveals surrogate lineup for post-debate spin room

Former President Trump's campaign revealed its lineup of surrogates who will speak with the media in the spin room after Tuesday night's debate.

Standout names are Democrats Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., both of whom have endorsed the former president.

The usual suspects will be in attendance as well, including Trump's running mate, JD Vance and Senators Tim Scott, R-S.C.; Marco Rubio, R-Fla.; Tom Cotton, R-Ark. and Rick Scott, R-Fla.

Reps. Byron Donalds, R-Fla.; Matt Gaetz, R-Fla. and Mike Waltz, R-Texas, will also attend, as well as businessman Vivek Ramaswamy.

Tuesday night's debate will be the first time Harris will face tough questions in an unscripted environment where she must perform on her own. Her campaign has faced heavy criticism for a lack of media transparency, agreeing to just one interview--held with her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz--since becoming the Democratic nominee.

Polls still show a tight race leading into the Philadelphia debate, though Harris holds a slight lead. The Trump campaign nevertheless says they are confident in the former president's position.

"memorizing answers"? Safe to assume this means she got the questions in advance? Which to me, is in opposition to the spirit of a debate

Does anyone else find it incredibly unsettling that both Joe Biden and now Kamala Harris need a week of intense debate prep to answer less than 90 mins worth of questions from a friendly network?

I think this is absolutely correct. Hence, as much as I don't want to, I'll watch it. I will take off my shoes and put them in the other room. There is no reason to destroy my tv by hurling them.

Schiff: Possible Harris Debate Problem Is ‘Knowing the Facts Too Well’

Pam Key 10 Sep 2024

Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA) said Monday on MSNBC’s “Inside” that Vice President Kamala Harris’ knowledge of the facts could be a problem during her debate with former President Donald Trump.

Host Jen Psaki said, “I don’t know if you heard there’s a debate tomorrow. You and the vice president were prosecutors around the same time in California. What do you think that background means for how she will approach a debate with Donald Trump tomorrow night?”

Schiff said, “I think she will be quick on her feet. She will know the facts and be able to marshal the facts in support of her argument. The challenge for the vice president is twofold. One, sometimes knowing the facts too well gets in the way of giving the broader vision, letting people get to know you and seeing the more human side of you. You are at risk of coming across with a laundry list of facts and that’s not what people are looking for.”

He added, “The other challenges the bar for her is so much higher because the bar for Trump is so low. He will lie and bluster. He will be Trump. Because people don’t expect better and they won’t expect better of him, but it’s an opportunity for Kamala to show her human side and at the same time she has to hold him accountable for his lies. She has to show a sense of humor if the questions yield to that and, to put him in his place if he is being obnoxious. That’s a lot to accomplish.”

PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE RULES:

Here are the rules of the face off:

- The candidates’ microphones will be muted when their opponent speaks

- There will be no audience

- The candidates will not be permitted to have written notes

- No staff can visit them during the two commercial breaks

- The candidates cannot ask questions of one another

Trump, according to ABC News, won a virtual coin flip to determine podium placement and order of closing statements during the debate. Trump chose to offer the last closing statement, and Harris chose the right podium position on screen.
