Excerpt from the article:
Celebrity voices have entered the 2024 presidential race in a variety of ways in recent weeks, and some of the biggest names in politics and in Hollywood have lent their voices to a particular candidate in hopes of moving the needle this November.

Nick Offerman, Jane Fonda, Ben Stiller, Kathy Griffin, John Stamos, Ed Helms, Tiffany Haddish and Ike Barinholtz were among those who appeared on a “Comics for Harris” virtual rally via Zoom Monday night, which reportedly raised close to half a million dollars for the Harris campaign.

“Sex in the City” actress and former New York gubernatorial candidate Cynthia Nixon threw her support behind Harris and her Vice Presidential pick, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, in a post to X Tuesday: “I’m Walzing on air!”

I have never seen a franchise endorse a presidential candidate before, this can't be real.

I get telling everyone to vote in general because it’s your right as an American….but sports teams should not be telling you who to vote for.

Didn't read, or care to.

But if true....  It's nice to know in advance who to root against.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

We are aware counterfeit political ads are being circulated and are working with our advertising partner to have them removed.

I read that as well. Thanks for posting. But it doesn't change my opinion of the Eagles, lol.

Since being exposed the Eagles have denounced the ads and they are now being removed

Philadelphia Eagles Working to Remove ‘Counterfeit’ Political Ad Endorsing Kamala Harris

Elizabeth Weibel 2 Sep 2024

The Philadelphia Eagles announced that they were “aware” of a “counterfeit” political advertisement claiming the team had endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president.

In a post on X, the Pennsylvania sports team wrote that it was “working with” its advertising partner to have the advertisements that appeared to feature a drawing of Harris wearing a Philadelphia Eagles uniform and helmet while holding a football in one hand, removed.

The bottom of the advertisement features the words “Kamala. Official candidate of the Philadelphia Eagles.”

“We are aware counterfeit political ads are being circulated and are working with our advertising partner to have them removed,” the team wrote in a post on X.
