I’m sorry to say. Kamila is acquitting herself very well in this interview. Yes there are definitely avenues for attack. But, everyone expected her to come out falling on her face and she did not. I know that bar is set really low… But that’s the reality.

Stopped watching halfway through when she said when we come back we will cover the emotional scenes played out at the DNC.   Namely what the son of Walz did.   Not going to put the kid down, I'd be doing the same if my dad was up there, but this is supposed to be an interview of Harris, not a highlight real of the Convention.

On Thursday’s broadcast of “CNN NewsNight,” CNN Senior Political Commentator and former Obama adviser David Axelrod said 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris took “a bunch” of positions during her last presidential run “that did not really reflect what she felt comfortable with and she did not seem connected to the words she was speaking” because political consultants told her to.

Axelrod began the segment by praising how Harris handled questions about her policy changes.

Later, after Harris’ immigration policy flip came up, Axelrod stated that “the reason she didn’t make it to 2020 was she was taking a bunch of positions that were the state of the art political advice that did not really reflect what she felt comfortable with and she did not seem connected to the words she was speaking” before being cut off by host Abby Phillip.

In another section of the segment, Axelrod said he thinks Harris is a “pragmatic progressive,” and the Democratic Party has shifted on immigration.

Hmmm... I've edited a few videos of my own, but...
... from 45 minutes to 18?
That's A LOT of "editing", any way you slice it.

Somewhere the "full" length of this interview (not "on tape", but on a hard drive) exists, unless it's already been deleted "for safekeeping".

Is there someone at CNN with both the chutzpah and access to release it under-the-table...?
