.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that he’s been tapped to join the Trump administration transition team.

In his role, Kennedy would select personnel for the next Trump administration. He made the announcement in an interview with Tucker Carlson.

“I’m going to work to get him elected and … I’m working with the campaign. We’re working on policy issues together,” Kennedy said. “I’ve been asked to go on to the transition team and … to help pick the people who will be running the government. And I’m looking forward to that.”

“I don’t know what would happen to me if we lose,” he added, with Carlson suggesting prison.

He's not so wacko.  He can see the destruction that the current administration has imposed on this country.

Say what you want but the man has some deep rooted American values; not just old DEM values.  That's more than I can say for a lot of members in Congress.

The great concern here of course is Trump's upcoming sentence.  That is the leftists opportunity to lock him up and do as they please.

Donald Trump to Put RFK Jr., Tulsi Gabbard on Potential Transition Team as Honorary Co-Chairs

Wendell Husebø 27 Aug 2024

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard will join Former President Donald Trump’s potential transition team as honorary co-chairs if he wins the 2024 presidential election.

A transition team enables an orderly and peaceful transfer of power and conducts post-election responsibilities, such as vetting, selecting, and appointing presidential personnel.

“We look forward to having their powerful voices on the team as we work to restore America’s greatness,” Brian Hughes, a Trump campaign senior adviser, told the New York Times on Tuesday.

The appointments of Kennedy and Gabbard, two former Democrats, underscore Trump’s agenda of uniting America in the face of the distrusted media and political pundits.

Gabbard endorsed Trump on Monday, and Kennedy endorsed the former president on Friday. “I was a Democrat for over 20 years. Today, I endorsed Donald Trump for President,” Gabbard posted on X:

At least he never drove a girl off a bridge in his car.  So he has that going for him.

Also, the more I hear and read about his siblings the more I realize he is the only sane one left in the clan.

@roamer_1   Did you watch the full interview?  I've also heard him speak on a couple of occasions.  He's a tree hugger for sure, liberal for sure, but I believe in his heart he is pro American.  Something that the current regime is not.

IMHO we need as many pro Americans in gov't as we can get.  Is Trump grasping for straws?? He's grasping and trying to gather as many pro Americans as he can to combat the whacko anti-Americans in Congress.  I give him credit for trying to build a coalition to save this country.

Like him or them or not -- I'll take a pro American over an anti-American any day.

I am really glad to see this; he is displaying leadership and not partisanship.  Though Gabbard and Kennedy are liberal I don't see them as extreme leftists with Marxist intents.

RFK Jr., is right; with Harris in we will see totalitarianism. That is another reason why he has joined Trump.

No @libertybele , I listen to none of it during elections. NONE. The record supplies a far better perspective, compared to the bald-faced lies couched as promises delivered on the stump.

Agreed.  His relatives' thinking is about as warped as AOC's and Omar's.

You can't discount the fact what is going on around him/us in this country and around the globe.  Remember that his father was shot by Sirhan Sirhan, a Palestinian allegedly in retaliation for his support of Israel.

JFK -- Oswald? CIA? Johnson?  Lots of conspiracy theories on both deaths.

I think the assassination attempt on Trump may have sparked a fire underneath RFK Jr.

Why his family is so radical befuddles me.

In the interview he didn't really promise anything but laid out why he's doing what he is and IMHO it comes from his roots deep seated within; he lost his father and his uncle ... that tends to stick with you and obviously it has weighed on him.  Also the leftists have tried to censor him. Why?

Yeah... It's all bullshit. Look at his very, very liberal record.
Yes, he has a very liberal record.  I am not denying that.

There is a difference between liberalism and totalitarianism.  There is a difference between a liberal politician who is pro-American and a liberal (at best) politician that wants to destroy America.

That is where we are at.  We either align ourselves with pro-American politicians are align ourselves with those that are trying to destroy her.

We're hanging by a thread and that thread is either knitted together by various people or completely cut.

If Trump can get a group to help mend this country, more power to him.  IF that thread is finally cut, there will be nothing left to mend it. Our country will be completely gone. Rebuild?  From what?  Starting from scratch?? How? There are too many right now who don't give a damn and will allow whoever to take her over -- they've not done anything to help her and could care less...this then becomes their 3rd world country (at best) by default. Radical Latinos, Islamists, BLMers, M-13, Hamas, Hezbolah, and others could all care less as long as they can declare their piece of the pie and Americans and their property will be disposed of as they see fit once they take us over.

Well, no... If the right is liberal and the left is liberal, your totalitarian argument is made moot.

Best intentions aside, liberalism will destroy America, either way - and all the faster if the right caves in... which is what is happening.

Sounds all hopey-changey to me. Liberalism on the right will not defeat liberalism on the left. It will join with it.

I'm waiting to see if he is genuine...or just stabbing the Dems and his family for their disdain.

In his speech, he was on point about the media and the Dems.

Time will tell.

Say what you want but the man has some deep rooted American values; not just old DEM values.  That's more than I can say for a lot of members in Congress.

He's a complete wacko leftist.  Just this year, Trump himself said RFK Jr. was "far more liberal than anyone running as a Democrat, including Cornell West and Jill Stein."

Economically, he wants free childcare.  He wants to make government-financed 3% mortgage loans, which will make inevitable an even worse housing collapse  than we saw in 2008.  He wants to make student loans dischargeable in bankruptcy, which essentially will wipe out most of that debt and make college free moving forward because bankruptcy can be gamed.  And he's actually stated his desire to wipe out that debt entirely.

He also wants to massively increase corporate taxes, and to make it illegal for them to opposing union organizing drives.  He's also much further left environmentally than most Democrats.

He supports massive affirmative action in terms of government funding/supporting of minority businesses.  White people need not apply.

And the leftism goes on, and on, and on.   Don't believe me - his own campaign website is still up and describes all of this.  Letting this guy help choose people for government agencies is the EXACT OPPOSITE of cleaning out leftist Deep-Staters.

No doubt I agree that liberalism will destroy this country, that's a given. With liberalism there is no path forward and as I have said many times; liberalism hasn't worked in the past, isn't working now and sure as heck won't work in the future.

Conservatism??? How many conservatives are actually seated in Congress??? Few and far between.  Sad but true.  You can't elect conservatives if they're not running and you can't convince people that conservatism is better if there's no one spreading that message.

Without conservatism or conservative candidates running, that leaves us with the choices that we've been handed.  IMHO we either back someone who is pro-American or we back someone who is anti-American.  That's the spot that I believe we find ourselves in.

Sitting back and watching every anti-American group destroy this country along with millions of ILLEGALS who are coming in, is a rapid recipe for disaster and that's the disaster that we are finding ourselves in.
