I don't see it, other than places like here and I think most of these conservatives were never Trumpers from the beginning.
Since the leadership of the Pub party was changed voter registration is way up and we finally have some semblance of a get out the vote (ballot harvesting) operation. I think the only thing pulling down the Pubs in general (not Trump) is that the elected Pubs never fought to stop anything Biden-Harris wanted. Instead they were controlled by the establishment loyalists in the party.
More fiction and fantasy.
What’s pulling down Republicans with swing voters is Donald Trump. There was a no more glaring example of that in 2022. And before somebody claims it was abortion, there were many Republicans who won their elections and reelections, despite having a more restrictive view on abortion.
Now Trump has claimed that he will be great for women and their reproductive rights. How do you think that’ll sit with the evangelical vote?
https://www.politico.com/news/2024/08/24/trump-abortion-reactions-00176276The Democrats currently have a get out the vote operation that is much larger than the one Hillary or Biden had. 90% or greater turnout in urban areas in swing states will give her the presidency. They have a much easier job than the Republicans who have to not only make sure they get out their rural base, but get out enough voters in the suburbs to counter her advantage in the urban areas and that’s just not going to happen
For example, most of Ron DeSantis school board endorsements lost(for now) their election in Florida recently. Florida may end up going Harris or it’ll be very close this year. If Trump wins Florida, he will not carry the Miami Dade area like Ron DeSantis did in 2022
She will win here in Wisconsin. I 100% guarantee that. They’re registering new voters and getting their voting operation set up in counties like Dane and Milwaukee, which will determine the election. Hillary never bothered to visit the state once in 2016, and despite that, the election here in Wisconsin was razor thin close. When she wins Wisconsin, she will also win Michigan
We had a Republican written ballot initiative recently here in Wisconsin and the Republican position got trounced. A small taste of what’s coming in November
We need to be working on Senate and House races as a buffer against the Kamala presidency. The belief that Donald Trump, who paid a porn star and a playboy model to keep an affair quiet when he ran into 2016, is going to convince swing voters that Kamala is the spawn of Satan is absurd
The only hope Donald Trump has is if enough of her base loses their enthusiasm and decides to stay home this November. I wouldn’t bet on that happening. This Harris/Walz ticket is the Democrat base voters dream ticket. This is better to them than Obama/Biden as far as they’re concern.
Just before Vice President Harris' acceptance speech Thursday night, we officially crossed the $500 million mark," campaign chair Jen O'Malley Dillon wrote in a memo released by the campaign on Sunday. "Immediately after her speech, we saw our best fundraising hour since launch day."
Trump has also proven to be a formidable fundraiser, but appears to be outpaced in her month-old campaign. Trump's campaign and its related affiliates announced earlier this month that they had raised $138.7 million in July — less than what Harris took in during her White House bid's opening week. Trump's campaign reported $327 million in cash on hand at the start of August.
The Harris fundraising totals were raised by Harris for President, the Democratic National Committee, and joint fundraising committees.
O'Malley Dillon said that nearly a third of contributions during convention week came from first-time contributors. About one-fifth of those first-time contributors were young voters and two-thirds were women, groups that the campaign sees as critical constituencies that Harris needs to turn out to win in November.
The Harris campaign says it has also seen a surge in volunteer support for the vice president. During convention week, supporters signed up for nearly 200,000 volunteer shifts to help the campaign.https://www.pbs.org/newshour/amp/politics/harris-has-raised-540-million-and-saw-a-surge-of-donations-during-dnc-campaign-saysThere is a massive enthusiasm for her candidacy amongst the Democrat party base that I have not seen in over a decade. How she went from being one of the first to have to drop her candidacy when she ran in the Democrat Party primary to all of a sudden becoming the second coming of Christ amongst democrat voters, I’ll never understand. But the enthusiasm is real. It will propel her to the White House if it continues
What do conservatives do during a Harris presidency? How about an autopsy and coming to terms with reality? And if/when Trump loses, Trump is only one part of the problem they have
It took a while for the Democrats to finally come to terms with the fact that Biden and his candidacy was a “Weekend at Bernie’s” movie. Now the denial has switched
As evidence of the desperation, just a mere month ago, RFK Junior was a certifiable left wing nut job here. Now he’s the hero who’s going to save a collapsing campaign, and, secondly, the country. Just because he decided to back Donald Trump does not change the fact that he is a certifiable left-wing nut job
