Former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo laid bare the harsh realities of political fundraising and media complicity in an explosive DNC rant that’s catching fire across social media. Since his departure from CNN, Cuomo has transformed into a vehement critic of the political status quo. His recent appearance at a Democratic National Convention (DNC) event showcased his disillusionment with what he describes as a bipartisan “pay to play” system dominated by high-stakes financial transactions, a sentiment he expressed with unbridled fervor.

“A big theme here at the DNC is that they’re going to go after corporate gouging,” Cuomo began, his voice charged with a mix of frustration and revelation. “And they’re going to go after corporations, whether it’s in taxes, largesse, loopholes. The RNC, we heard the same thing. They’re going after the elites, the two sets of rules.”

Cuomo pointed to the expensive luxury suites at the convention, which start at a staggering $500,000. “Look at the ring of suites, okay? This is not unique to Democrats. There is a game of money. When people talk about a uniparty, we are strangled by the money reality in our politics,” he explained. “The media boxes, you think they’re free? Why do you think I’m on the floor?” he questioned.

“Those boxes are filled with the same people that they say they’re going to regulate. They are literally looking down on the faithful and being told, yeah, yeah, we’re going to crack down on them. We’re going to make them pay their share. They paid 500, 700, a million, a million and a half to have those seats.”

So it's all about Cuomo.  He's pissed because he thinks he should be in one of those luxury suites instead of being on the floor with the little people.
