Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is facing criticism after a video surfaced showing him aggressively pulling his 17-year-old son Gus Walz’s arm on stage during the Democratic National Convention (DNC). The incident, which reportedly took place on the third day of the event (Wednesday), has sparked a debate over whether the governor’s actions were driven by anger or simply an overzealous moment of excitement.

The video was captured on Wednesday, the same night Gus was seen tearfully cheering for his father from the audience.





Tim’s aggressive demeanor and facial expression during the “tug” says it all.

A little preview of who he truly is.

No wonder the kids has mental health issues with a father like that.

Seems like he could be a very different person behind closed doors

Not sure it has been brought up yet, but we all had P.E.  back in the day, and my time in the wringer was say 1968-1974.

I can honestly observe and state that P.E. coaches almost universally were some of the meanest and most sadistic SOBS we saw in the day. Might be worthwhile for the GOP go find some of Walz' students then.    Hell, DNC's  shoddy vetting missed the stolen valor, and DUI.....   Would love to get an account of his behavior as a high school coach.

Yeah, no. That definitely had that pissy 'get your ass over here' look to it, including the expression on his face. But it's okay when they do it...

Had it been Trump dragging Barron over, it'd be on the front page of the WaPo and the NYT and the talk of the bablefests.

I've read that boy is autistic,  but don't know what that means, specifically, in his case. Dad did seem a bit too physical in the video clip. The kid wasn't misbehaving,  so why treat him this way?

A lot of routine interaction is second nature, and Failz probably forgot he normally roughs up his kid.  (See my earlier comment about P.E. coaches being sadistic)

Don't worry though...  this is a one time deal, as the dnc will coach the coach accordingly.
