There is a lot of chatter on Twitter/X regarding Kamala Harris' bizarre word salads.

For a long time, people have just assumed she is a moron, and I admit that this has been my working theory. She rose through the ranks of Democratic politics on the back of relationships with powerful people, implying that intelligence was not the driving force in her rise to power.

She certainly is not charismatic, regardless of what the current propaganda keeps trying to sell to us. Until the media decided that they had no choice but to back her with all their firepower, they were actually quite disgusted by her, probably because of her collapse in the Democratic race in 2019. They had been 100% behind her and she collapsed into a heap of dung in that campaign.

Now there is an alternate theory about why she is so incoherent, and once you look, you can't unsee the likelihood that it is true.

If you leave the media bubble with its insistence that Kamala is brilliant and joyful and, instead, look at Kamala objectively, it’s clear that something is very wrong there. Most of us have assumed that she’s an ambitious dim-bulb who’s been stage-managed into a situation beyond her minimal capabilities and that she responds with strange word salads. However, there are now reports that Kamala’s real problem is that she’s an uncontrolled alcoholic who is showing up drunk at a lot of events. Is this true? I have no idea, but it’s certainly a reasonable explanation for what we’re seeing.

It seems that the rumor has been circulating in political circles for some time, but it broke into the open over the weekend with a tweet from James Blair, a Trump campaign insider:

Well that sucks! All the many years the I was taking Vicodin and had some drinks I never once felt euphoria or giggled/cackled once. I must have been doing the drug thing wrong 8888crybaby

I tend to get a little giggly myself when drinking. At least it would be a viable explanation for her behavior.

Well unless there is legit proof that she is either drunk or stoned, this is just a useless allegation that is going to make us look like fools.  Just stick to the issues FFS!

Got it.  You are fine with a POTUS who might have a substance abuse issues, or routinely operates inebriated, stoned, whatever.

Seems some were calling Biden's dementia allegations useless 4 years ago too. We all know how that came out.  I am all for sticking with issues, but unlike some of us, we can walk and chew gum at the same time.

If there is chronic substance abuse problem, that should disqualify her from office,
