Iran and its proxies likely will launch significant attacks on Israel and possibly U.S. forces in the Middle East in the coming days, the White House has said.

U.S. and Israeli intelligence assessments concur that an attack or attacks are “increasingly likely,” and additional forces are being placed in the region to contend with the threat, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told reporters on Aug. 12.

“We have to be prepared for what could be a significant set of attacks, which is why, again, we have increased our force posture and capabilities in the region, even in just the last few days,” Kirby said.

Has the 'president' held a press conference or addressed the nation about the massive US military buildup in the Middle East? Has the media asked him or Kamala Harris why 1/3rd of the US Navy has been deployed to the region? Is anyone talking to Congress? Who?

As of now, nearly one-third of the entire U.S. Navy's deployable ships, including aircraft carrier strike groups, amphibious strike groups, and other surface combatants, are either already positioned in the region or are en route. This massive military buildup is aimed at protecting Israel from potential Iranian attacks and ensuring the safety of U.S. forces and allies in the region. The presence includes assets in the Mediterranean, Red Sea, and Persian Gulf, creating a formidable defensive posture that serves as a deterrent against any hostile actions from Iran or its proxies. The deployment includes the USS Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group, which will join the USS Roosevelt in the region for a period. Additional fighter jets and ballistic missile defense systems have also been positioned to enhance the U.S. military's readiness to respond to any escalation (MPR News) (The Cipher Brief) (Military Benefits).

Likely most of these military will be there to safeguard the oil routes and strategic facilities in and around the Persian Gulf in order to block a surge in oil prices right before the Dem convention and US election.

Doubling oil prices would strike down any attempt by the Dems to win an election.
