Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is accusing her Democratic challenger of actively courting Republican voters as well as big-money groups to boot her from office as the incumbent faces a high-profile primary Tuesday.

Omar, a prominent member of the “Squad,” is facing former Minneapolis City Councilman Don Samuels, whom she defeated by just 2 percentage points in 2022. The primary between the two has turned ugly, with both Democrats trading jabs about campaign donations, policy platforms, and most recently, calling into question where support for their campaigns is stemming.

Samuels, who entered the primary after Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack against Israel, has sought to make the House Democrat’s Pro-Palestinian stance a liability for Omar, accusing her of being a “pawn for Hamas.”

Samuels’s attacks against Omar come as two of her left-wing colleagues, Reps. Cori Bush (D-MO) and Jamaal Bowman (D-NY), have been ousted from their seats after pro-Israel groups spent millions of dollars against them.

Those losses have also caused a surge in fundraising against Omar, particularly from pro-Israel groups and those who have proposed courting Republican voters to back Samuels, according to the Intercept.

I can’t predict what’s going to come of this race. She almost lost her primary last time. Can’t say that I would be sad to see her go, but she’ll just be replaced with another progressive left-wing vote in Congress

But Minneapolis is not the same Minneapolis 20-30 years ago

I get the concept of America being a melting pot. But it sure looks like you’re in the Middle East in downtown Minneapolis in spots. And how many of them still bring their Jihad mentality?


Several years ago, a baggage handler at the Minneapolis airport was arrested because they traced him going back to the Middle East to fight for ISIS.  Wrap your mind around that and think about how he had access to planes. And I fly out of Minneapolis when I travel

No doubt the other guy will suck at 3/4 of the rate that she does, but I still would love her to go down in flames, just for the psych value.

She’s going back to Congress

I kind of figured that her chances were better than Bowman and Bush. Minneapolis has a fairly large Somalia population. And it’s growing.  And this is the kind of people they send to Congress

However, the election returns raised some eyebrows due to the rate and speed at which the votes were counted. After polls closed at 8:00 PM, it took nearly an hour and a half to reach just 5% counted, and then jumped to 99.5% within 15 minutes, sparking debate and suspicion.






Totally 100% legitimate. Nothing at all suspicious. Congrats to Ilhan Omar.

Trickery like this will be employed on Nov. 5.

It seems like these anomalies are baked in.
