It is nearly impossible to listen to the news, both conservative and liberal outlets, without hearing about the Harris Honeymoon and that it is ending soon. This is untrue and is tied to another untruth, which is that the public keeps being told that the countdown to the election is the countdown to November 05.

This is sheer ignorance. As of approximately one week ago, this was the news: “Election Day is 100 days away, but some voters could cast their ballot in half that time.”

In fact, “Election Day” is a dead concept. The Election Period is what matters.

On September 6, voting begins. From then, depending on the state, ballots can be cast for the “November Election.”

Biden dropped out on July 21.

Harris was crowned nominee on August 02.

The Dem convention is from August 19-22.

Excluding August 22, from the time the convention ends, there are 15 days until voting begins. That’s when Kamala’s “honeymoon” gets its second wind:

    The “honeymoon” phenomenon, [is that period of time] in which a newly elevated political leader gets positive press simply because of their newness. And the thing about honeymoons is that they eventually end.

Apparently, there are no boundaries for nominee honeymoons, so “eventually ends” is uncertain.

I’ve never seen a presidential debate like that take place in June. That was a win-win for Democrats. Either Biden would’ve done well and reassured voters. Or he would’ve done so bad that the pressure for him to resign would’ve been great and early enough in the campaign for the Democrats to adjust

If Trump would’ve said no, and said we’re going to keep the already agreed-upon debates that we normally do in the fall, and Biden faltered, the Democrats would’ve been much bigger trouble

Perhaps it is hopeful thinking, but I like to think of her as the modern day Humpty Dumpty.  This exulted queen of the progressive/communist/democratic socialist movement will fall off her wall she has been buffeted upon, and when she does, she cracks into a thousand small pieces.

The million dollar question, is there enough time between now and election day for her to fall?  As in Biden, I knew he was not functional during the campaign in 2020.  I could not bring myself to believe that America would vote for this fool.  They did, plus the fix in the 13th hour locked the election.

Does it even matter?  If they fix the election again, and I believe they will, we will be faced with eight years of a disaster beyond comprehension.

It's called "the underground and above-ground election apparatus", and I've been posting about it here for years now.

There are the "below ground" components you don't see, such as ballot printing and distribution... and tampering with tabulation equipment...
And there are the "above ground" components that have been installed "in plain sight" over the years, such as unlimited mail-in voting, drop boxes, ranked choice voting, etc. As radical as these ideas are, The Party has succeeded in "normalizing" them in a relatively short time!

The apparatus worked in 2020.
It worked again in 2022.
And since then, The Party has been fine-tuning it in expectation of the upcoming election.
