Too many veterans with prominent platforms to cover up the stolen valor of Tim Walz. This isn’t 1990 or even 2016. You think Shawn Ryan and others are going to sit on this? Stolen valor is among the most dishonorable acts. CNN can try to hide it. Doesn’t matter. It’s everywhere.

The Minnesota National Guard is disputing Governor Tim Walz's military biography, saying that the Democratic vice presidential candidate did not hold the rank of command sergeant major at the time of his retirement.

Army Lieutenant Colonel Kristen Augé, the state public affairs officer for Minnesota National Guard, told Just the News on Wednesday that the governor did not retire as "Command Sergeant Major Walz" in 2005, as stated on Minnesota's official website, but as master sergeant "because he did not complete additional coursework at the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy." A soldier who does not complete the requisite coursework is automatically demoted, according to Army regulations.

The National Guard's statement comes a day after Vice President Kamala Harris revealed that she picked Walz as her running mate and the two made their debut as the Democratic ticket on Tuesday at a rally in Philadelphia. ...

Maybe.  But he did send them out 3 or 4 days later to fire bean bags at people on sitting their porches enjoying some fresh Covid Air.

Calling the GOP stupid is an insult to stupid people. 


This is probably the only time I will ever agree with DCPatriot on anything BUT he's right!  The Republicans should have held this close until AFTER the Rat convention, and then nailed him coming out of the gate.  There's still enough time for Harris to dump Walz and go back to Shapiro or Kelly, embarrassing as that might be.  It would be much harder after Walz was formally nominated as the VP candidate.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) said that he “got far more” out of his military service than the United States military “got out” of him.

During an interview with MPR News in October 2018, Walz admitted that he had not seen combat, but added that he had received “far more out of the military than they got” from him, such as “leadership opportunities.”

“I know that there are certainly folks that did far more than I did,” Walz said. “I know that. I willingly say that I got far more out of the military than they got out of me, from the GI Bill to leadership opportunities to everything else.”

The outlet notes that “during his two decades, Walz was part of flood fights, responded to tornadoes and spent months on active duty deployed overseas.”

Walz, who was recently announced to be Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate, has come under fire from veterans and other people accusing him of stolen valor.

A recent viral video shows Walz claiming that he had served in war, although he has never served in combat.

    I spent 25 years in the Army, and I hunt….. I’ve been voting for common sense legislation that protests the Second Amendment, but we can do background checks. We can do CDC research… We can make sure that those weapons of war that I carried in war is the only place where those weapons are at.

It has also been reported that in the biography on his website, Walz listed having a higher rank than the one he had when he retired from the U.S. military.

As Breitbart News previously explained:

    Walz served in the Minnesota Army National Guard and retired at the rank of master sergeant, or an E-8. However, on his official website bio, he lists a higher rank that he served at for a short period that ultimately was rescinded, as he did not complete all the requirements to serve at that rank. However, his bio implies that he retired at the rank of command sergeant major, or an E-9.

On Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre avoided questions regarding accusations of Walz’s stolen valor.

Time @DCPatriot is something we don't have a lot of ----- everything the democrats have done this past year was timed to run down the clock.  An opportunity arises to clobber a candidate on the ticket ---  use it while you can.  This is the lull between forced euphoria and the convention; so it's a perfect time.

NN correspondent Tom Foreman delivered a fact-check Wednesday against Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz after he claimed to have carried weapons “in war.”

Foreman appeared on “CNN News Central” alongside show co-host Brianna Keilar, where he discussed a previous claim Walz made that suggesting he carried weapons in war while speaking about gun control. Foreman stated there is “no evidence” to suggest the Democratic governor’s comments were true.
 
“Walz did make a comment speaking to a group, he’s done it a couple of times, where he has used language that has suggested that he carried weapons in a fighting situation,” Foreman said. “As you know, with your contact with the military, I know from coming from a military family, there is a difference between being in a combat area, being involved at a time of war and actually being in a position where people are shooting at you. There is no evidence that at any time Governor Walz was in a position of being shot at, and some of his language could easily be seen to suggest that he was.”

How about running a campaign on limiting the size of the federal government and why expanding the money supply to fund government and it’s $2 trillion deficit and why that is a threat to the long-term economic and fiscal health of this country. How about a campaign that embraces free markets, less government intervention in the economy?

Because that doesn't work...the voting public doesn't have that kind of smarts or patience.  A buddy of mine is running for state office...he tried that at first while door knocking, and got no where with his voters.  After he switched to a simple pro-gun, anti-Democrat, and pro-liberty message, he won his primary and will likely win his election in November.

People don't want to be informed anymore, if they ever did.

The Swift Boat vets were effective because, as Swift Boat Vets themselves, they had the moral authority to make those ads.  Trump doesn't.

If third party surrogates want to go after Walz, that's fine.  But if Trump himself goes after Walz, not only does that make his non-service an issue once again, but it diminishes him by putting him in a battle with the Vice-Presidential candidate instead of Kamala.
