Michigan: Islamic scholar complains that FBI will show up if he says Hizballah is ‘very good thing’

This is likely not even true anymore, if it ever was. Today’s FBI is more likely to show up at his house to give him a medal and invite him to address the local agents about “Islamophobia.”

Anyway, note also that this is not an “extremist” statement. There is much greater support for Hamas and Hizballah among Muslims in the U.S. than most people realize — after all, where do we see Muslim protests against or even mild denunciations of either group? Yet all through the first two decades of this century, mosques were built all over the country. Anyone who protested and suggested that the mosques might not end up being “moderate” was denounced as “racist” and “Islamophobic,” and shunned and dismissed accordingly. And so now we have mosque preachers openly praising a group that the State Department still classifies as a terror group, and no one bats an eye.
