I don't know why Harris would want to tie herself to a Jew in this environment.

Kamala Harris' vice presidential pick was leaked on Friday due to an incompetent staffer not understanding how to schedule posts on social media.

In a move that will no doubt rankle the Harris campaign, a video promoting Josh Shapiro as the choice was pushed out by the X account owned by Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker. It was immediately apparent that the post was meant to be scheduled for early next week when Harris is set to join Parker and others in the city to officially announce the VP pick.

Note: It is very likely the post gets deleted at some point once the mistake is realized. I'm embedding it so the text will still be visible even if it is.

A local reporter from Philadelphia confirmed that this is what it looks like.

Is it possible Harris now goes in a different direction out of anger at the situation? It's possible, but unlikely. As I wrote on Thursday, with Shapiro clearing his schedule for the weekend and the rally to announce the VP pick being in Philadelphia, all signs already pointed to the Pennsylvania governor.

Harris is pro-Palestinian and is antisemitism. With Shapiro she wins both the Pro-Pali and Pro Jewish groups + likely she wins PA which would likely give her the WH.

How will the antisemitic base respond to Josh Shapiro as VP? I'm guessing the release of the news by the mayor of Philly actually was a mistake when trying to schedule a post, it could give Team Harris some time to see how their Jew-hating base responds -- particularly in Mich.

As Vice President Kamala Harris has been closing in on announcing a running mate in her Democratic presidential campaign, a social media video posted on Friday launched speculation that the news had leaked.

Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker shared a video to X around 2 p.m. that supported Harris for President — and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro for Vice President.

"Proud to be back with so many leaders from across our region supporting @KamalaHarris for President and @JoshShapiroPA for VP! We are One CITY, One REGION, and ONE Commonwealth United," Parker captioned the montage video, tagging city and state democratic organizations.
