.

Vice President Kamala Harris has received the delegates needed to become the new 2024 Democratic presidential nominee, party chairman Jaime Harrison announced on Friday.

“I am so proud to confirm that Vice President Harris has earned more than a majority of votes from all convention delegates and will be the nominee of the Democratic Party following the close of voting on Monday,” Harrison said on a call discussing the virtual roll call vote.

Harris, who will replace President Joe Biden after he dropped out of the race two weeks ago, will accept the nomination formally during the Democratic National Convention in Chicago later this month.

“I am honored to be the presumptive Democratic nominee for president of the United States,” Harris told supporters Friday.

There were two other Democommies that got delegates running against Biden.  I do not understand why they are not screaming at the top of their lungs.  It was only 4 delegates for one 3 for the other, but they have delegates, Harris never got one vote, or one delegate.  I guess this is what happens when the Democommies go full blown soviet in their approach to elections.  The Central Committee do as they please, and damn the people.  And the people fall in line like the sheep they are.

Relying on the primary system is not in the interest of political parties.  The fanatics who show up for primaries are not strategic in their picks and unrepresentative of a broader electorate dominated by independents.  Party bosses crowded into smoke-filled rooms would research and select the candidates best positioned to win.  As we see with Kamala Harris, many of the nominees benefit from a compressed election calendar.

I mentioned it on another thread, but Harris said a day or two ago, 'I hope to earn this position'.

TRUTH...she can never earn the position.  She is being appointed, just like the they did during soviet USSR.  The Dems have been full blown communist for some time.  Now they are being blatant about it, and their sheep are just delighted.

Two other individuals won delegates during the primary, and yet they hand this nomination to someone that did not receive a single vote.  And when she did run in 2020, she did not make to the first caucus in Iowa, she dropped out.  She has never receive a single vote or delegate to be the candidate.  EARN, my ***!!!

Kinda makes you wonder -- seeing how easily "a virtual convention" with a "pre-decided" candidate went -- if the dem-communists will ever bother with a regular primary season again.

Why go through all that unpleasantness, when they can repeat "what they just did" ???

Harris has a different way of earning votes.  They didn't nickname her "Heels Up" for nothing.
