With 9/11 deal, President Biden dishonors the victims of terror

It’s been 23 years since terrorists killed 2,977 Americans, destroyed the Twin Towers and forever scarred our nation.

Families of the victims have been desperate for closure, desperate for justice, for far too long.

Now, after having already dishonored the sacrifice of our troops with the disastrous pullout from Afghanistan, President Biden dishonors the memories of those slain on 9/11 by agreeing to a plea deal with terrorist mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.
 

That this disappointing closure took this long is itself a travesty. After failed attempts by President Obama to try KSM in the mainland United States, a military trial was planned. But that process dragged on for years, piling pain upon pain.

 8888crybaby   I was hoping shark researchers would use KSM's corpse to chum the waters for Great White Sharks off Cape Cod.  Or better yet, use him as live bait.

I'm sure this is just an odd coincidence that it happened the same time the multi-country prisoner exchange with Russia happened. I can't help but wonder if this played a part in some way. :shrug:
