1.  Trump didn't attach Kamala's race.

2.  Republicans need to stop being afraid of discussing topics that affect all Americans and get past race.

He was rewarded by the republican primary voters for doing this kind of stuff.  He is still at it today, posting pictures of her Indian family.  It may be time to focus on senate races, as he seems primed for a meltdown.

Provided Trump doesn’t take Republicans in down ticket races with him

That AZ Senate seat is going left this fall

Agreed....he just won't STFU and talk about issues...

In everything he does, Trump is talking about the horrendous Biden-Harris record, what's at stake in this election and his detailed plans to turn us back to greatness.  Every.Single.Time.

So does Vance.   He was terrific at the border today.

Trump and Vance are going to lose.  They are using his strategy from 2020, versus the one he used in 2016, where he barely won.  People do not want to listen to someone complain about what this or that politician did not do, they want to know what will you do for me NOW AND IN THE FUTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!.  The journalists at the NABJ wasted Trump's time and their own.  They could have asked him for details of what he plans to do for blacks in America.  No!  They baited him on his opinion of whether Harris was a DEI hire.

Everyone on the planet knows Biden said he was picking a black woman to be his VP.  Well, you just eliminated 93% of the entire USA population to be considered.  If that is not DEI, what is it?  It certainly is not merit based when you exclude 93% of the population.

I was not impressed by one reporter on that stage.  Even Harris Faulkner came across weak.  Normally she appears self assured, she certainly did not that day.  I was not impressed.

And let's face facts, Biden got elected hiding in his basement in 2020.  With 98 days left before the election, do you think they will march Harris out to be interrogated by the media?  Hell no.  She is a complete zero, a fine example of a box of rocks regarding her intelligence.  She cannot perform under pressure.  98 days go by, she will unravel like a cheap suit.

All Trump has to do is tone down his rhetoric regarding his personal thoughts.  His remark about one day she is Indian the next she is black.  It just does not get more moronic on his part.  He should have said, her race does not matter to me.  She is an American, and I intend to beat her in this presidential race.

For one, he could just frame things from a positive perspective, and keep his moronic opinions to himself.  He should focus on policies, policies he intends to implement to correct us for national security, policies for improving the economy, policies to end an unchecked invasion on our border.

When he said he was for the working man, I almost choked on my sandwich.  By increasing the H1-b Visa recipients in his first year after promising to end the H1-b Visa program, he went on record for not giving one iota for the white collar working man.  And when he FAILED to build the wall on the border, he did not do much for the blue collar worker either.

If the Dems were smart, they would attack him on that, because he bluster with his empty rhetoric promises made, promises kept, but he did not keep the two primary promises he made to the working man.

I guess I am tired of not being represented by anyone in Washington.  1.6 million folks from India that have taken jobs away from white collar workers, and I am pissed.  I could work until I am 100 if we did not have the H1-b Visa Program, but instead, I have to resort to doing something else, while someone from India has a job I would have, them getting 30% what I was making and no benefits.

Washington does not care about USA citizens, and haven't for decades.

I don't think this interview hurt Trump at all. People expect him to be combative, so he did nothing out of the ordinary. Plus, He was able to plant a seed of doubt into Kamala's character and change the narrative for the day. That is a win.

Trump does not do things in the conventional manner. He is the GOP nominee, for better or worse. To ask Trump not to be Trump would be a bigger problem. Trump thrives when his political adversaries overreach because they fear him. That is what he provokes, and that, for better or worse, is the only chance he has.

I hope others have noticed, that no matter what good or bad news Trump is associated with, that the needle barely moves either way.  If there are 2% of the electoral who are undecided at this point, I'd be surprised.

Kamel-uh and Trump's voting bases are set, and for Trump it might be enough for an at least an electoral college victory.    I think this will be decided on party  GOTV, and the ability of the GOP to prevent a repeat of the '20 steal.

Trump attack on Harris’s race frustrates and panics Republicans

.

Former President Donald Trump is under pressure for his latest line of attack on Vice President Kamala Harris, questioning her racial identity.

Trump spoke at the National Association of Black Journalists’ annual conference Wednesday in Chicago, where he got into a tense exchange with several black journalists. At one part of the exchange, Trump implicitly accused Harris of being a fraud, claiming that she shifted between stressing her Indian and Jamaican racial identities.

“So I’ve known her a long time, indirectly, not directly, very much, and she was always of Indian heritage, and she was only promoting Indian heritage,” Trump said. “I didn’t know she was black, until a number of years ago when she ran (as) black, and now she wants to be known as black. So, I don’t know, is she Indian, or is she black?”

“I respect either one, but she obviously doesn’t, because she was Indian all the way, and then all of a sudden, she made a turn and … she became a black person,” he added, to disapproval from the crowd.

The remark caused many Republicans to panic, who have treated Harris’s race as a political third rail.

Republicans immediately started hitting the panic button, with some down-ballot candidates taking Trump’s statements on more directly than others.

Trump is completely correct.  She has been a chameleon.  Use whatever is useful!  Now, is he artful about it?  Maybe not, but this is one of his less offensive times.  He’s not being childish, Trump is making legitimate observations and having legit questions.

That’s a good point.  While he can point out her hypocrisy and opportunism (using whatever race to her advantage), he should be more about her career generally.

And we ALWAYS need to pay more attention to CONGRESSIONAL RACES!  Always been a peeve of mine, we focus on one damn man/office, rather than assuring Congress is under our control.

Trump is going to blow this election, and then his supporters will claim 1) that he really won but the Democrats cheated, and 2) he lost because of conservatives who pointed out that he was blowing it.

You're not going to like this post.

Race SHOULD be "an issue".
It lies at the base of what "The Great Replacement" is all about.

If 50% of the illegals were white, what do you think the dem-communists would be doing with them?

The racial and cultural future of the country is at stake.
Well, actually, only PART OF the country -- some places are (like the Eagles' song) "already gone".

Andrew Breitbart once said that
"Politics is downstream from culture".

He was right, but to that I add "Fishrrman's dictum":
"Culture lies downstream from the wellspring... which is race."

Western civilization is at stake.
Thus, race IS and will remain an issue.

I TOLD YOU that you weren't going to like this post.

Worrying whether Kamala Harris is black or not is how you lose elections. Who gives a bleep about her skin color. All you do is stir up hatred amongst people of color who are on the fence. Hammer her where it hurts. Her policies and where she has always stood on key issues, and most importantly, hit her with nothing but the truth.

She can’t run from her past and she can’t take back anything she’s said in the past. It is all there in black and white. You hammer her until you can’t anymore and every time she decides to flip flop, you destroy her with the truth on where she really stands. Then she will have no choice but to answer to anything and everything she’s said and when asked about her accomplishments? She has nothing. Not a Damn thing.

Open the American people’s eyes with the hard facts. Show the American people why our policies work and why theirs are nothing but failures. Worrying about her skin color or whether she is black, Indian or Jamaican only opens the door for attacks deeming you a racist. Not very presidential.

This here is a candidate with no proven record, no major contributions and a failure at every level along with the fact she isn’t smart enough to go off script and answer anything on her own. Let her destroy herself don’t give her any reason to change the subject by letting her make this about race. She is by far the most unqualified, worst VP in history with no accomplishments to speak of. That’s where you get her, by forcing her to explain herself and questioning her on policy. Send along plenty of rope because if you follow that blueprint, I guarantee you, she will hang herself.

You have to be smart. We can not afford any unforced errors and we definitely can not afford them the opportunity to change the subject. We have under 100 days to this, the most important election in this countries history. You have a weak opponent. Don’t let her dictate the way the game is played. We are in the drivers seat, as long as we follow the game plan. We beat her with facts and truth and God will take care of the rest by rewarding us with a monumental Trump victory along with the reassertion of OUR United States of America. Don’t bleep this up. There will be no do overs. This will be our last chance. God Bless you all. We got this. My two cents

She is only suddenly discovering her "Blackness" because it virtually guarantees the Black vote, regardless of all else.

That's all folks!

If she isn't black and is claiming to be, then why should black people vote for her?

With all due respect, this is rather naïve.  This was exactly the John McCain and Mitt Romney strategy, and what did it accomplish, except losing?

People are first and foremost emotional creatures. They do not buy things based on logic, and they do not vote for a candidate based on policy positions. This is especially true of the low information voters. Trump planted a seed of doubt about Kamala's character. He got massive publicity with the comment, and with Trump, as we have seen time and again, there is no such thing as bad publicity.

To expect Trump to campaign in a traditional manner is absurd. He is where he is because he does not fear to go into the lion's den and duke it out. Let him be.
