San Antonio Cop Shot by Venezuelan Illegal Released Into US Just Months Ago

A San Antonio police officer was struck during a shootout with an illegal alien from Venezuela who was released into the U.S. just months ago, according to reports.

Authorities responded to a domestic violence call at a residence in the Texas city at around 3 a.m. on Sunday morning.

There they encountered a man identified as Jorge Chacon-Gutierrez, 25.

Police say Chacon-Gutierrez opened fire with a rifle he was brandishing, striking a female officer.

He was found dead following an ensuing shootout.
