9/11 mastermind, two others strike plea deals while awaiting trial
One of the suspects includes including alleged mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who played a large role in the terror attacks

Prosecutors have agreed to plea agreements with three of the masterminds of the Sept. 11 terror attacks who were awaiting trial in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

The Convening Authority for Military Commissions, Susan Escallier, entered into pretrial agreements with Khalid Shaikh Mohammad, Walid Muhammad Salih Mubarak Bin 'Attash, and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al Hawsawi, the DOD said.

The terms and conditions of the plea deals were not disclosed.

The three men, along with Ali Abdul Aziz Ali and Ramzi Bin al Shibh, were initially charged jointly and arraigned on June 5, 2008, and then were again charged jointly and arraigned a second time on May 5, 2012, in connection with their alleged roles in the attacks.

After the Biden administration announced a plea deal for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the alleged architect of the 9/11 attacks, and others, several notable Republican lawmakers lambasted the move, suggesting it was too soft for him and others involved.

Sens. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), Rick Scott (R-FL), Mike Lee (R-UT), and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) denounced the move soundly, along with several New York House Republicans.

“The Biden-Harris Administration’s cowardice in the face of terror is a national disgrace,” McConnell posted on X. “The plea deal with terrorists, including those behind the 9/11 attacks, is a revolting abdication of the government’s responsibility to defend America and provide justice.”

Mohammed and others received a plea deal with unknown details earlier Wednesday. President Joe Biden originally rejected the conditions of a plea deal in September.

The Biden-Harris Administration has done the unthinkable: they’ve agreed to a plea deal with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of the September 11th attacks, and two of his accomplices.
23 years ago, America watched in horror as thousands of innocent Americans died. America  mourned for weeks afterwards as first responders sifted through the ashes at Ground Zero, at the Pentagon, and at the crash site in Shanksville. For more than two decades, the families of those murdered by these terrorists have waited for justice. This plea deal is a slap in the face of those families. They deserved better from the Biden-Harris Administration.

More shocking is Biden-Harris administration is claiming they didn't know of the deal until already struck. Are they lying? Did they say don't tell us? Or did Biden's DOJ decide on own to protect Biden-Harris from fallout.  Every answer is indictment of Biden & Harris.

The White House said Thursday that President Biden "played no role" in the plea deal process for three of the masterminds behind the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

"The White House learned yesterday that the Convening Authority for Military Commissions entered into pretrial agreements, negotiated by military prosecutors, with KSM and other 9/11 defendants," a White House National Security Council spokesperson told Fox News Digital. "The President and the White House played no role in this process. The President has directed his team to consult as appropriate with officials and lawyers at the Department of Defense on this matter."

The statement comes after the Department of Defense announced Wednesday that prosecutors had reached a plea agreement with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and two others, Walid Muhammad Salih Mubarak Bin 'Attash, and Mustafa Ahmed Adam al Hawsawi, for their role in masterminding the Sept. 11 terror attacks.

The agreement would help bring a close to a yearslong process, with the case being stuck in pretrial proceedings in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, with no trial in sight over concerns about the admissibility of evidence that was obtained through the CIA’s enhanced interrogation of the three defendants, which critics have denounced as torture.

The terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but family members of 9/11 victims were told by the Office of Military Commissions that the suspects would be spared the death penalty as part of the deal, according to a report from the New York Post.

While Biden did not play a role in the deal that was ultimately reached, the president rejected a proposal last year that would have spared the three suspects from the death penalty.

And Trump having been POTUS, why were they not tried and executed year one of his presidency?  Year 2?  Year 3?  Year 4?

I am so sick and tired of these lame MFers that go to Washington and accomplish next to nothing.

The notion that a Marxist may well become our next POTUS, who possesses no intelligence whatsoever, if that does not scare every person in the knowing world, it sure as hell will six months into her 1st term.

Four men have served as POTUS since the attack of 9/11, and a big fat nothing in terms of bringing these dirt bags to justice.  If I lost a family member or friend on 9/11, I would be livid.
