Mesa Mayor Backs Harris & Calls Trump Out

The Republican mayor of a Phoenix suburb endorsed presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris on Monday, invoking the name of Arizona political titan John McCain.

Political Titan ??????

A mayor is supposed to be non-partisan.  He may call himself a Republican, but then I can call myself black.

Mesa was once voted the most conservative city in the nation.  Not by a long shot any more.

If he does not appreciate the names:

Gorsuch
Kavenaugh
Barrett

then he is no republican of any kind. 

And while I really do not like DJT, I don't want Harris putting left-wingers on the court where they will stay for decades. 

THAT IS NOT CHOSING COUNTRY OVER PARTY.  That is a direct assault on the Constitution of the United States of America.

What kind of a wold have we created ????

There is no shortage of folks with TDS.  John McCain was a major POS.  Trump was critical of him, but after events unfolding as they did, McCain was a dirt bag.  His last vote shows just how small a man he was.  This mayor is completely inconsequential, just like former Rep Adam Kinzinger, former Rep Liz Cheney,  and Sen Mitt Romney, to name a few.

To think that I once lived in Mesa...I spent the vast majority of time living in Chandler when I was in that neck of the woods, just across the border with Mesa.

Many folks are fine with it. 

I don't see how they can be.....but, whatever.

If Harris is elected, we'll clamor for the days of Joe Biden.  Her handlers will use her to wreak havoc on conservative principles.

BTW: Where ANYONE with a 10th amendment resolutoin.

My Reps were too busy expelling Liz Harris.  They ran unopposed, so I don't expect them to do anything.

He doesn't have to say it out loud, but there are times when his mouth (and the things he does say out loud) minimize our vote.

The misrepresentation of his statements in the media is a powerful form of propaganda, indeed. Those are  repeated, ad nauseum as if they are true, and even Republicans start to think so.

I am not talking about something I read.

I am talking about something I see on TV where he is speaking.  And where I have context.

Even in the debate, he screwed up.  He should have hammered Biden with his deficits....not one word.  He should have pointed out how all of the giveways that Biden mentioned would only add to the debt our grandchildren will face.  He should have answered questions better.  If I could have reached through my TV I would have slapped him several times.

We elected a pretty conservative mayor this time around.

This guy Giles has turned out to be a real loser.

Several of the LD's in the East Valley have formed a "Committee" to watchdog  the Mesa City Council. 

I hope we are going to see more accountability in the future.
