Mark Kelly for VP
« on: July 25, 2024, 07:49:51 pm »
Arizona is a laughingstock.

People calling themselves conservatives are savaging each other while we have two democratic senators and a democratic governor.

Republicans barely hold the house.

Republicans barely hold the senate.

Both are in Jeopardy.

We are in danger of sending a certified mad-man to Washington in the form of Rubin Gallego.

And now his potential partner in the senate is up for consideration as a VP to Hindenburg Harris.

Never mind that Harris might just win if DJT doesn't shut up get serious about winning.

Kelly going to the WH allows Hobbs to appoint a replacement (I can only imagine) who we would then run Martha McSally or Kari Lake against and lose.

I am so depressed.

Looks grim.  Stolen elections have consequences.

Kelly stole his election ?

I disagree.

Blake Masters has turned out to be a first class moron.

He blew it then and he's blowing it now.

I think the reference to stolen election was in reference to the POTUS election of 2020.

Biden did steal the election, and get ready, because it is going to happen again. And no one will do a damn thing.  The republic has been tossed, and no one of power is doing a damn thing.

Now, as a result of a fixed election, a person that would never be taken seriously is in real contention for the position of POTUS, and the fine Democommies may well fix another election in a very blatant way.

At the rate we are going, Russia will have more freedom moving forward.  No joke.  We are headed for a totalitarian form of governance which will be brutal for people that have the mindset on this board.

I agree on that one.  Blake lost because he thought the Big Cities would carry it for him.  But, Gov, AG, Secretary of State...those were costly losses, and it was fraud that did it.

No, I was talking mainly about 2022.  The 2022 Cheat was much worse in AZ.

2000 taught them that Republicans weren't going to do a damn thing to stop their cheating.  So they cheated even more in 2022.  This election, I expect the Dems to get over 100 million votes nationwide.  And afterwards, Republicans will play victim yet again.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

I can't speak to that in it's entirety.

I do know many members of my precinct are pretty disgusted.  It's a struggle to get them to think about voting.

However, I do know that that there has been a huge push for more GOP pole workers and also a greater emphasis on ballot chasing.

Looking forward to DJT being president instead of Hindenburg Harris.

https://www.politico.com/news/2024/07/30/space-leaders-mark-kelly-00171814

Political leaders in the space sector are over the moon that Sen. Mark Kelly — a former astronaut — has emerged as a top contender to become Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate.

Sen. John Hickenlooper (D-Colo.) said during a POLITICO event about the space industry that Kelly is one of the most impressive people he knows, touting the Arizona Democrat’s extensive knowledge of national security, consistency and character.

What a freaking Good-old-Boy's club, hunh ?

I can't imagine just how stupid this state will get if he become the VP nominee.

I will tell you this.  JD Vance had better shut up and get on a good program or he's going to help give Harris the WH.

From a U.S.A article:

Americans worried about inflation may find a friend in Sen. Mark Kelly if he’s chosen as presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ running mate, but that wouldn't be surprising since most of his short political career has been during a time of rising prices, experts say.

Kelly, elected in 2020 and on presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Harris’ short list for vice president, is the junior senator from Arizona. He’s known for his service as a Navy pilot, an astronaut with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and husband of former Rep. Gabby Giffords. Giffords stepped down a year after suffering a severe brain injury.

In Kelly’s career, he’s shown sensitivity to people suffering from high inflation. He supported the administration’s steps to lower gas prices and a bill allowing the government to negotiate drug prices, for example.

Read that last paragraph.  More government intervention.

Kelly is a part of the class of people that think they can control these things.  It's scary.

I think the Obama's (who is really running the show now) has concerns that they aren't going to be able to hide Shapiro's past with the IDF.

I think Kelly will be chosen now, just for 2A reasons, and the outside chance they can nab AZ.

The part in bold is just a little token smoke and mirrors to bamboozle the masses after Biden's policy changes have made it more difficult to drill for oil (exploration, more than development) and raised drug prices. Selling a few million barrels of oil out of the SPR to the Chinese does bupkis for us.

Yes, well the RNC is flat on it's face right now and the left is riding roughshod over us.

Trump might have really screwed us.

They just launched Repblicans for Harris.

I'd say she's 60 to 70% chance of winning.

I am 99 to 100% of vomitting.

With Trump, the hidden issues (racism and sexism) became more open.  He didn't create them, he just gave them licensce.

Kelly is going to do the same thing.

If things don't go our way.....we lost this......they didn't win it.

He's moderate enough that if she wins (and gets a second term) we won't see a Republican for 16 years.

This is where the democrats ability to coalesce internally is really coming through.  Where the GOP's infighting really screws us.

Trump is really going to have to find a rabbit and a hat to make this work.  If she does not implode (like we hope she does)......we are in trouble.

Facts don't mean much (and really never have)

It's image that counts (and that is how Presidents win).

The only President I ever thought to be genuine was Ronald Reagan.

Well....except I thought GWB was genuine.......a genuine idiot.

Kelly didn't make it.

But he agreed to support Harris Walz.

Now, that really pisses me off.

Harris was bad.

Walz can't be allowed to get anywhere close to D.C.

Kelly was at the Harris "Rally".

We need to hang this on him big time.

He is supporting an airhead and a marxist.

Some are reporting that Obama wanted Kelly at the top of the ticket when Biden stepped down.

Oh, what a disaster.
