Dave Matthews Joins Anti-Israel Protest, Calls Netanyahu Address ‘Disgusting,’ ‘Obscene’

Rocker Dave Matthews was seen in the anti-Israel crowd that took to Washington, DC, streets Wednesday to protest against visiting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

News outlet Al Jazeera found him and did an interview.

“It’s a disgusting show of support for someone who doesn’t deserve our support,” Matthews despaired in an on-air exchange with the outlet.

At no time did he mention the hostages taken when Hamas terrorists invaded southern Israel last October 7, or consider their fate since.

It was the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust — slaughtering babies, raping women, burning whole families alive, and taking hundreds of innocent civilians hostage, the American Jewish Committee notes.

Matthews also ignored the atrocities the Hamas terror organization had visited on Israel for countless years while being committed to the extermination of the country and its people.

Instead he flicked the switch to vitriol and contempt for elected leader Netanyahu, saying his address was “disgusting.”

“I’m ashamed that my tax dollars are going to the brutalizing of an entire people,” was the sole basis of his argument.

I usually give wide berth to musicians. I guess I love music too much to not listen to everyone that I disagree with. I have stopped going to concerts since I have no intention of paying big bucks to listen to their drivel.

However, you start prancing around with these Hamas dressed losers that burn our flag, then that changes things for me.

In my world Dave just joined Jane Fonda. Too bad, 'cause I liked his music.

Dave Matthews' political mindset fits into the category of who gives a f*** what he thinks,  I certainly don't.

And in terms of groups to pay dollars to go see, I can count on my one hand and have a finger or two left over.  They just are not worth seeing live for the dollars they want.

And heck, after you see Mick Jagger in his hay day, does anyone else remotely come close?  I was never big on the Rolling Stones, but I went to a concert in 78 or 79 at the Superdome in New Orleans which had Van Halen, The Doobie Bros, and The Rolling Stones.  I went to see the Doobies, one of my favorite groups, and it was a great concert.  But I would never have imagined how entertaining Mick Jagger was.  It was a great concert.

Yeah I know. I liked Jack Black and Dave Matthews. What's irritating is that they think they are any sort of authority on anything, other than music.

In the sixties many of the magazines purporting to be rock and roll magazines also included heavy, liberal-leftists content/propaganda in their mags. Crawdaddy and Rollingstone were two of the bigger rock mags who put a lot of leftist propaganda in their mags.
I was liberal at the time, but I basically only wanted to read about rock and roll. I'll bet most readers felt likewise.
