Fox News proposes September presidential debate to Trump and Harris

.

Fox News executives have sent letters to former President Donald Trump’s and Vice President Kamala Harris’s campaigns requesting to host a presidential debate on Sept. 17 in Pennsylvania.

The network said it is open to negotiating the date, format, and place but proposed anchors Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum moderate the debate. The network decided to amend its proposal because of Harris’s inclusion in the race.

“Now that Vice President Kamala Harris is the presumptive Democratic nominee, FOX News Media is amending our proposal for a debate this cycle. Given the race has changed, we’d like to request the opportunity to host a Presidential Debate between VP Harris and former President Trump,” the letters sent to each campaign, signed by Fox News Media President and Executive Editor Jay Wallace and Fox News Vice President of Politics Jessica Loker, stated.

Trump recently pushed for the network to host the next presidential debate over ABC, which had one scheduled for Sept. 10 when President Joe Biden was still the nominee. Trump had agreed to the debate with Biden, and on Tuesday said he was willing to debate Harris but he didn’t want to do it any longer on ABC News.

IMHO Trump should decline.  He needs to see who is nominated at the convention and who the DEM VP is going to be.  Until then ... he shouldn't commit to anything.  Perhaps he needs to request that someone like Carlson or Hannity moderate the debate as well.

She will definitely play the race card and she's no longer Chuckles the Clown who is full of word salad that she portrayed herself to be for the past several years.

Also -- hasn't she received articles of impeachment??

Fox is making a VERY large assumption here IMHO.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Trump needs to force Harris, that if she wants two debates,  one needs to be moderated by a conservative source, and the other one of her choosing.

If this doesn't happen, Harris will not address her record and other losing issues.

It doesn't even have to be Fox,  It can be Newsmax

ASSuming Harris becomes the Dem nominee.

Mentioned in another thread, that I still think Kamel-uh is on probation, even with the sewed up votes for the nomination.  If the polling goes south on her prior to the convention, her dim colleagues will knife her, just like they did Joe.

But still.....  she's got the convention vote, so with at least 80% certainty, I think it will be her.   If not her....   Big Mike.

You have a lot more faith in the Commie Bastards than I do. Nothing is off the table at this point as far as I'm concerned.
