The coin has flipped. Harris is a female of color and anything said against her, she'll play the race card, guarantee it. Trump had the Black vote in his pocket and now her being the VP changes all that (yes I realize she's not African-American).
Why Trump didn't foresee that she'd possibly play a bigger role at the Convention, I'm not sure. Going after Joe was easy -- unfortunately it appears that Harris may be the nominee. She's already slamming Trump...funny...she's miraculously lost her chuckling and her word salad as she speaks out against him.
I've said this numerous times now -- JD was a big mistake and I think he's going to sink Trump's re-election. Trump needed to pick either someone Black or a female. He selected a 'newbie' with little experience who doesn't bring a whole lot to the ticket.
Race is always at the center of every black in politics. They can't stand on their record if they are Democommies. Trump NEVER had the black vote. NEVER!!! Only the Democommies have the black vote. Where they are usually in the 90s percentile with their Democommie candidate, Trump gained 10% more, which reduced the black vote for the Democommie candidate down into the 80s percentile. The vast majority of blacks vote Democommie. This pathetic fact does not speak well for the intelligence of blacks.
In fairness to Trump, who would imagine the Dems would push Biden out and disenfranchise the entire Democommie electorate? Biden was the perfect stooge. But Harris is about as dumb as they come, so maybe she is even better. She has indeed proven she can lie with the best of them. She just said the other day, "the border is secure".
If Biden's policies have been completely moronic, her mindset is moronic on steroids.
I agree with you on Vance. I don't think he adds anything to the ticket to be frank. Trump would have been smart to add a woman, Hispanic or black person. It would have garnered him additional votes. But if anything is clear, Trump does not need anyone. He believes it is all about him. He does not need a ground game, which I think is foolish and caused him to win narrowly the first time, to lose the 2nd time, and I expect him to lose this November too.
And Vance shooting his mouth off about women that do not have children, what was he thinking really? He may be academically smart, but I consider that statement one of the dumber I have heard in awhile. I suspect Trump thought he was the perfect VP because he is a bit of a groupie.
I had hoped he would pick DeSantis. I like what he has done down in Florida. And if not him, I would have liked Cotton, Hawley, or Youngkin.
