You guys. I pounced on this memo. Saw some trusted big name accounts remarking on it.
It looked to be odd at first blush. I posted a quick alert on it to raise questions.
It is *NOT* rare. So regardless of the context about Biden being absent, it is not a rare kind of memo.
I thought to fact check it the way I did a few minutes after researching it. My hunch was right: It turned out to not be a big deal.
There are so many wild things going on right now that my first duty is to fact check first, publish later.
Even if it looks legit. Even if people I trust are talking about it.
That's something that I try to get right. I know that and will double check better next time.
