This shouldn't surprise anyone.  Trump PAID OFF scores of politicians.  That is what they do, take BRIBES for FAVORS when asked.

Wish I had a dollar for every time I have heard this excuse for when Trump donated to democrats (and Rinos over real conservatives).

The thing is this behavior is now excepted in our political ranks as "just business as usual"... and that shames me.

California being a One Party State, it is entirely possible that Harris, who had not yet shown her absolute vacuity and who portrayed herself as tough-on-crime, might have actually seemed to all observers with political views to the right of Trotsky to be the better candidate in her races when Trump made those donations.

That is absolutely correct. The NYT touted her in 2010 as one of 17 women in America who stood a chance of becoming president one day.
