Joe Biden insisted in an interview with NBC on Monday that he does not engage in the type of incendiary rhetoric that could cause hate across society.

"How do you talk about the threat to democracy, which is real? When a president says things like he says. Do you just not say anything, because it may incite somebody," Biden said. "Look, I, I've, I have not engaged in that rhetoric. My, my, my opponent has engaged in that rhetoric," Biden told Lester Holt.

Biden then ventured to spread the "very fine people" and "bloodbath" hoaxes, both of which are hateful and officially debunked.

On Tuesday, Biden spoke at the NAACP National Convention in Las Vegas and spread more vile lies about Donald Trump. Notably, he told black attendees that the former president called for the National Guard to go after them for "peacefully protesting" the death of George Floyd.

The message: Trump wanted to harm you for exercising your right to protest.

The reality: Trump wanted to deploy military force because BLM rioters were burning buildings, smashing windows, threatening civilians, and disobeying police officers. The riots reportedly caused 19 deaths in the first 14 days.

We certainly don't expect Biden to stop campaigning against Trump following the assassination attempt. The election is 111 days away. Both campaigns must go on.

However, the fact that he's still spewing such repugnant lies and propaganda is wholly irresponsible.

President Biden on Tuesday issued a grave warning to Black voters about what is at stake in this year’s election.

Speaking at the 115th NAACP National Convention in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Biden spoke of Project 2025, a controversial transition plan some conservatives have vowed to adhere to should former President Trump be reelected in November.

“The MAGA officials will undo everything the NAACP stands for,” said Biden. “They want to deny you freedom: the freedom to vote, have your vote counted. They’d impose a nationwide ban on abortion.”

“I’m not being dramatic, but we cannot let that happen,” Biden added.

Trump has denied having anything to do with Project 2025, but the plan has become a hot topic for Democrats in the months leading up to November.

But Biden also detailed what his administration would do for Black Americans if he is reelected.

On his first day of his second term, Biden promised to call on Congress to pass protections against voter suppression including the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act and the Freedom to Vote Act. He also said he would ensure the nation would see police reform by passing the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act. He also promised to restore Roe v. Wade, the ruling legalizing access to abortion that the Court overturned two years ago.

Audience members applauded Biden, chanting “Four more years!” as the president spoke.

Black voters are a crucial demographic Biden must win over if he hopes to remain in the White House in November.

Biden and the Dems do not realize or will not accept that the election has changed. They have a set script and apparently they are unable to deviate from it. George Floyd served a purpose for the Communist agitators during the time, but that is over now. I cannot imagine anyone still being motivated by that nonsense now. Trump is violent and racist. Trump is Hitler. Trump is an enemy of America, etc.

These are all tired old tropes which no longer apply. In fact, these old worn out themes are just kind of silly these days. But it is all the Democrats have. They cannot let go of it because they have nothing else to sell but fear. The thrust of the Democrat campaign is, Democrats are bad ... but Trump is worse!

I met Joe Biden in the early 1960s. He was 19. I was 14.

I was raised in a poor, poor Black family. At home, I had no food at the table sometimes. In those days especially, most folks were afraid to come to a neighborhood like mine. But Joe was not.

He was a lifeguard at my swimming pool. I remember him smiling as he walked in.

Joe was only one of three or four white teenagers who would come hang out on this side of the tracks. We’d play basketball and softball, and we’d swim together. He was a person we could trust; he was like a family member.

One day, a man named Cornpop was bouncing on the diving board. It was against the rules, but we were young and we loved breaking rules. Joe, however, blew his whistle at Cornpop.

Now there were many gangs at the swimming pool and Cornpop was supposedly the leader of one of the “baddest” gangs in town, called the Romans. But Joe didn’t back down, and Cornpop was not happy about it. I remember Cornpop threatening Joe, saying his gang would cut him up.
