Autopsy reveals new details about the soldier found dead in her home

Details are emerging in regards to a Fort Campbell Soldier who was found dead in her home earlier this year— and while the case remains unsolved, authorities still seeking answers.

Private First Class Katia Dueñas Aguilar, 23, was discovered in her Clarksville, Tennessee, residence in May.

An autopsy conducted by the Montgomery County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that Aguilar had suffered 68 stab wounds to her neck and upper body.

The medical examiner determined the cause of death to be homicide due to sharp force injuries, as reported by The Clarksville Leaf-Chronicle.
