The USS John C. Stennis's overhaul and refueling, initially set to be completed by August 2025, has been delayed by 14 months and is now expected to finish in October 2026.

The technical name for the yard periods is called SFOMS (Ship's Force Overhaul Maintenance System) known to the crew as something "slightly" different (Someone's F*cking Over My Ship).  This yard period takes it to a whole new level. :facepalm2:
