In a hilarious turn of events, Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger found himself in an unexpected situation while chatting with Canadians about their Prime Minister. The rock legend quickly realized that his audience wasn’t as fond of their leader as he might have assumed.

During a recent event, Jagger attempted to strike a chord with the crowd by mentioning the Canadian Prime Minister. However, the rock star was met with boos, a reaction that visibly startled him. His face during the moment of realization was priceless—he clearly wasn’t expecting to be the lone leftist in the room.

The jeers lasted for about 10 seconds before Jagger, ever the seasoned performer, snapped into damage control mode. In a quick pivot to regain the crowd’s favor, he exclaimed, “How ’bout that soccer team!” The crowd’s reaction indicated he might have found a safer topic.

From my posting history, I think everyone realizes that I have a great enjoyment of rock music and its history.

Still, it can not be understated that rock and roll post 1965 or so, and the associated counterculture did more to move this country leftward than any other set of events.  There are a multitude of main stream rockers like Jagger, Neil Young, Springsteen, Jackson Browne.....and many others who feel that their 1960's hippy-dom is still relevant. 
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Jagger is one hell of a performer.  Celebrities need to stick to what they are good at, and avoid politics in large measure.  Plus, no one cares what their mindset is on politics except the most feeble minded people.
