Democratic lawmakers held a crisis call on Sunday afternoon to discuss President Joe Biden's viability as their 2024 candidate amid growing concerns over their own political futures in November.

On the call, at least five more Democratic lawmakers called on Biden, 81, to step aside, according to reports.

And most agreed that Vice President Kamala Harris, 59, should be the nominee instead.

You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

OK... I think we can be pretty certain that Biden is going to be made to step down and Harris will replace him.

....hmm... I think a couple of us anticipated that for quite awhile ...... so who is going to be her VP??

Big Mike.  Just my opinion.

Did Pat Nixon have this much  say whether Richard Nixon should resign or not after Watergate like Jill Biden does?
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

Yes - this is the week he withdraws from the race.  The dems can draw attention away from the GOP convention.

It looks like they are stuck with Kamala due to their religious adherence to DEI.

Still waiting for the first Democrat to come out and say that Biden needs to step aside for the good of this nation.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Joe will stay.  He's been running for President since, at least, 1987.

He's been running since the US had 57 states.

Two more House Democrats have called on Pres. Biden to step aside: Reps Nadler & Smith. While many committee rankers on the call with leadership have expressed support for Biden, the two were adamant about him needing to go, per person on the call.
Story at Washington Post.
