Excerpt from the article:

Remember that profitable In-N-Out Burger that closed in Oakland due to crime?

Well, at 4:30 am this morning, 70 people looted and ransacked a gas station across the street from it!
Owner Sam Mardaie described the scene as around 80 to 100 people broke through the store’s front door, grabbing everything in sight. “Shelves were ripped apart, all the grocery items were torn or stepped on or vandalized,” Mardaie recounted. The mob, reportedly angered by the store’s overnight window service policy, left no corner of the store untouched.

Like literally all the businesses and gas stations in the area are likely to close, leaving them with nothing!

And when all the stores and businesses close shop in these neighborhoods, they will claim racism, even though it’s 100% their fault.

From a real news source that is not a pop-up-and-ad-infested clickbait site:

Mob of nearly 100 looters ransacks Oakland gas station as store owner says police took hours to respond: ‘Back to square one’

https://nypost.com/2024/07/06/us-news/oakland-looters-ransack-gas-station-as-store-owner-sam-mardaie-claims-cops-took-hours-to-respond/

Quote
A mob of looters ransacked an Oakland gas station convenience store and caused thousands of dollars in damage as the frustrated store manager claimed police took nine hours to respond to his plea for help.

The horde, who had just attended a nearby car sideshow, broke into the 76 Station near the San Francisco Bay Oakland International Airport around 4:30 a.m. on Friday, according to ABC 7 News Bay Area.

Owner Sam Mardaie estimated approximately 80 to 100 people broke through his store’s front door and grabbed everything they could get their hands on.

“Shelves were ripped apart, all the grocery items were torn or stepped on or vandalized,” Mardaie told the outlet.

1. This convenience store and gas station is near Oakland International and the several nearby restaurants that closed due to crime. Being near the airport, this gas station gets a fair amount of business from car renters refilling their rental-returns.

2. The Oakland city council, in its infinite unwisdom, gutted OPD's budget. Between budgetary layoffs and officers retiring/bailing, OPD is short-staffed and facing possible future budget cuts.

3. Oakland mayor Sheng Thao, who is facing a recall election this coming November, was one of the Oakland city council members who pushed for gutting OPD's budget.

4. Alameda County DA Pamela Price, who is facing a recall election this coming November, is basically being recalled because she won't prosecute the crimes that have become rampant in Oakland (the county seat).

All in all, the thugs who did this did it knowing their risk of police being able to interfere in a timely way and from prosecution is very low.

I am not and never have been a leftist.

If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

Roving mobs of that size are beyond the ability of most urban police forces to properly address.

Theoretically, one might be able to call out enough officers to engage such a threat, but not without enough equipment - including vehicles, weapons, tactical gear and on-site command, communications and control.

And even then, there's the risk of leaving large sections of the city without adequate police coverage.

The proper response would be for the mayor, via the governor, to call out the National Guard with armored vehicles, full tactical gear and live ammo.

But that will never happen in today's California, and for obvious reasons.

It would be "racist" and fail to address the "root causes" of crime.

They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

The proper response would be looters being shot....period! But is definitely not going to happen. I have said it in throat what is needed is  Jersey Brigades, if the cops can't or won't protect the law abiding from criminals than maybe we need some vigilantes who will! Time to cul! The criminal herd and put some serious fear into them.

I sympathize with those few people in California who are trapped there, but by and large, for Californians qua Californians, I can't really be bothered to care because, as a group, they brought this on themselves.

I sent a news article about this to a friend, who replied with a very interesting comment:

  • Dems-greatest existential threat to USA republic!
We need to return to shooting looters on sight.  That will end that criminal behavior real quick.
