Parkinson's disease specialist met with President Biden's physician in White House
A cardiologist from Walter Reed and a fourth, unidentified individual were also present at the White House residence clinic on Jan. 17

A top neurologist at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center met with President Biden's physician at the White House earlier this year, White House records show.

Dr. Kevin Cannard, a Parkinson's disease expert, met with Dr. Kevin O'Connor and two others at the White House residence clinic on Jan. 17, records first reported by the New York Post show.

The report comes as the 81-year-old president faces increased scrutiny over his age and mental acuity in the wake of a halting and stumbling debate performance on June 27 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. John E. Atwood, a cardiologist at Walter Reed, also attended the 5 p.m. meeting, according to White House visitor logs.

The fourth person in attendance has not been identified.

The meeting happened on the same day Biden was at the White House and hosted House and Senate leaders to discuss Ukraine funding, the president's schedule shows.

VERY URGENT: A Parkinson's disease specialist has visited the White House residence medical clinic at least nine times since July 2023
The President's personal physician and a nurse who coordinates his care scheduled the meetings with Dr. Kevin R. Cannard. Before last July, he had come only once during Joe Biden's administration.

Jul 06, 2024

Dr. Kevin R. Cannard, a Parkinson’s disease specialist, has visited the White House at least nine times in the last year, official White House visitor logs show.

The logs show Dr. Cannard traveled to the White House residence medical clinic each time. He met either with the president’s personal physician or the naval nurse who coordinates care for the president and other top officials, the logs show.

Dr. Cannard’s spate of visits began on July 28, 2023 and continued at least through March 28, 2024. The most recently released logs end on April 1, so it is not clear if Dr. Cannard has been to the White House more recently.

The logs do not note the purpose of Dr. Cannard’s visits.

A physician profile page for him notes he is a “neurologist and movement disorders specialist at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center” who researches treatments for “early phase Parkinson’s disease.” Walter Reed provides medical care to senior federal officials.

Before July 2023, Dr. Cannard had visited the White House only once during the Biden administration, in November 2022.

On one visit, in January, his host is listed as Dr. Kevin O’Connor, the president’s personal physician. On the other eight, it is Commander Megan Nasworthy, the naval nurse who coordinates care for the President and a few other senior officials. (The New York Post first reported Dr. Cannard’s January meeting with Dr. O’Connor.)

The White House residence clinic briefly came to attention earlier this year, after a military inspector general reported that it had dispensed Provigil, a mild stimulant medication, without proper oversight.

This thing could erupt into an explosive scandal but it won’t.  Cabinet leaders, White House staff, Congressional members, cover-up people, enablers, handlers, front line media are all culpable. We have been put in peril because of this. Western nations should be howling. Incredible. Yet, there will be largely crickets.

We have become a punchline, a parody.

It’s a possibility that Biden could have Parkinson’s Versus dementia

He has that “Parkinson’s shuffle”

He probably has both.

We have a beach head. Now it's time to win the war and save the Republic.

I think you are wrong about this. The New York Times and CNN have both gone on record as saying he should resign. You don't go after a king and then fail to take him out. They are not going to back down now that they have put their own standing on the line.

If Biden has Parkinson's, and it has been covered up, then Biden is toast. And Harris might well be toast as well if she is shown to be culpable in the cover up.

It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve been wrong but my question then becomes: what is the motivation of the NYT and CNN?  Is it because Biden can’t win or are they worried about our security?

Hope you are well, sir.

Power. They know they'll lose it if Biden continues. They'd rather have some chance than no chance. And no chance is on the table right now.

It's solely because they no longer believe Biden can win.  They have been perfectly OK with Biden's dementia for the past four years as long as they believed Trump would lose.

Didn't Democrats say they were going to cure Parkinson's using embryonic stems cells?  At least that's what Claire McCaskill told us.

Check out this article Myst posted: https://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,536100.0.html

The author, an M.D., said Biden has Parkinsonism, an umbrella term that refers to neurologic conditions that cause slowed movements, rigidity, and tremors. A doctor friend of the author refined that "diagnosis" to say Biden's form of the condition to be Lewy Body dementia.

Top Parkinson’s disease specialist visited White House 10 times since 2022: Visitor logs
By
Peter Cordi
July 6, 2024 12:29 pm
.

President Joe Biden’s physician met with a top Washington, D.C., neurologist who specializes in Parkinson’s disease earlier this year, according to White House visitor logs.

The logs show that Parkinson’s disease expert Dr. Kevin Cannard of the Walter Reed Medical Center met with Biden’s physician Kevin O’Connor and two others at the White House residence clinic on Jan. 17. Cannard’s name shows up in the visitor logs 10 times since Nov. 15, 2022.

“It’s highly likely they were talking about Biden,” Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) told the New York Post, who first reported on the Jan. meeting. “He should only be [regularly] treating the president and the first family.”

Jackson served as physician to the president under the Obama and Trump administrations from 2013 to 2018. He has issued a number of warnings about Biden’s declining mental health, and accused O’Connor and first lady Jill Biden of having “led the cover up” to hide the president’s well-being from the public.

In all but two of Cannard’s visits dating back to late 2022, he is listed as having visited Megan Nasworthy, a liaison between Walter Reed Medical Center and the White House. Aside from the January meeting with O’Connor, he met with someone listed as “Dr. Joshua Simmons” on Nov. 15, 2022.

CNN’s Dr. Gupta: ‘Many’ Doctors Spoke to Me, ‘Pretty Unanimously’ Think Biden Needs More Testing

On Friday’s broadcast of CNN International’s “First Move,” CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta stated that the doctors who spoke to him with their reactions to last week’s presidential debate, “pretty unanimously” believe President Joe Biden needs more testing.

To me, Biden is exhibiting symptoms of Parkinson's.

At times, his eyes have that "mind trapped in body" look other Parkinson's sufferers - Michael J. Fox and Mohamed Ali - have exhibited.

Parkinson's has a dementia component—though if Parkinson's-like symptoms manifest with dementia together, it would more likely mean Lewy body dementia.

Didn't realize that till recently.  i had a Great Uncle who succumbed to Parkinsons in his late 70's, but he remained as sharp as a tack to the end.

I've seen both

Some Parkinson pt's also have dementia. Some don't

But if he has Parkinson's, that may explain his carefully controlled campaign exposures in 2020

I had a relative with Parkinsons.  She developed dementia later on -- though I'm not so sure that it's the drug themselves that they use to treat the disease that could cause dementia.  Her diagnosis later was Parkinson's induced dementia. However, the Parkinson's symptoms far exceeded the dementia for quite sometime.

They have made some strides in isolating a gene that identifies Parkinsons.

There are many different types of dementia and Alzheimer's seems to be a catch all disease.  IMHO just like cancer, I believe that they have cures or treatments that they aren't using because dementia and related diseases are a money maker for doctors, assisted living facilities and nursing homes.  There's lots of money to be made off of dementia patients.  Unfortunately, lots of patients are tossed aside when their lives are completely absorbed by the disease.

Very well, sir. Thank you for asking. Hope you are well as well.

You hit the nail on the head. If Biden was winning, even though a corpse, the media would not be turning on him.  But they see he cannot win, and once they made the decision to dethrone him, that is something they cannot reel back. To retreat at this point would be them admitting the POTUS is more powerful than they are.

It is now all out war if Biden stays in.

Did I call this, or what? The NYT is not going to accept NO for an answer:

In an article posted by the New York Times on Saturday, which focused on more supporters seeking ways to push Biden out while he continues to seek re-election, a senior White House official who insisted on anonymity, offered his opinion on whether Biden should serve another four years.

The senior official has reportedly worked with Biden during the 2020 campaign, his vice presidency and during his current presidency.

The New York Times learned that after watching Biden in private, in public and while traveling with him, the White House official no longer believes the president has what it takes to campaign vigorously to defeat former President Trump.

“The official, who insisted on anonymity in order to continue serving, said Mr. Biden had steadily showed more signs of his age in recent months, including speaking more slowly, haltingly and quietly, as well as appearing more fatigued in private,” the New York Times reported.

This is a joke, right?  Biden didn't have the stamina to campaign in 2020, much less 2024.
