New York City expands costly debit card program for illegal aliens

The city will provide another 7,300 illegal immigrants with pre-loaded debit cards.

New York City Democrat Mayor Eric Adams' office recently announced plans to expand its debit card program for illegal aliens residing in taxpayer-funded shelters.

The initial pilot program included 3,000 illegal immigrants, and now the administration is expected to provide another 7,300 individuals with the pre-loaded cards over the next six months, which will cost New York City taxpayers $2.6 million.

'We have no obligation to house, feed, clothe these individuals.'
