Exactly.  MO has said repeatedly and emphatically that she has NO interest in returning to DC in any capacity, especially president, and that Barry's eight years nearly wrecked their marriage.

I also recall Fred Thompson...he reluctantly entered the race in 2008 and it was clear his heart was just not in it, which was too bad because I really liked him and was a "Fredhead" too.

It's gonna be Michelle Obama. A late, dark horse entry. She won't even have to have campaigned for 18 months like everyone else. She claims she has no interest in running, it's "not in her soul."
She'll run -- because they'll ask her to after internal polling shows that Kamala has no chance of winning. A begrudging "no, I don't want to run, but it's my duty to save America" sort of campaign.
