This troubling news comes straight from the Office of the Inspector General for the Department of Defense. The report was mandated by Congress because, of course, the Biden Administration was apparently indifferent to the question even after all the controversy stemming from suspicions that the COVID-19 virus was engineered by the Wuhan Institute of Virology and leaked from the lab.

What we do know is that nearly $50 million went to the EcoHealth Alliance, which is famous for its wonky recordkeeping and its leader's propensity to lie every time he opens his mouth.

While Fauci has gotten deserved condemnation for laundering money for WVI through EcoHealth Alliance, for some reason the fact that DoD $$ was more than 10X the NIH $$ given to EcoHealth Alliance has gotten little notoriety.

Interesting. There's some deflection going on. The virus originated in North Carolina (Chapel Hill) and the research results and samples were moved to Wuhan in 2014 (if they had not already been shared). Two of the researchers on that original team were from the Wuhan Institute. Likely, it was refined in Wuhan, but that was not the place it started. The labs in CHapel hill got funding originating at NIAID, so Fauci knew for years that the virus was a lab created chimera and not of natural origin.
