A donkey named Diesel has been spotted living as the alpha-male in a pack of stags in California, after he ran away from his owners five years ago.

Terri Drewry was out on a hike when her favourite donkey ran off after getting scared by a mountain lion.

Diesel was spotted on a trail camera some months later but he was nowhere to be found. Despite a months-long search for her beloved pet, Terri and her husband Dave gave up.

The elk built a kind of half circle around him, as if they are setting up a protective blockade.
The scariest guy in a gang is the White boy. I don't know what that White boy did to get their respect ... but i'ma stay away from him.

Oh I do. Donkeys are murderous bastards - Nevermind that that's a mule. Same thing goes. Ranchers put donkeys in with a herd all the time... Because they are hell-on-wheels against any predator... But canines especially.
