A group of New Yorkers who recognized the suspect in a horrific rape of a 13-year-old took him down and held him until police arrived around 1 a.m. Tuesday, cellphone video shows.

Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, a 25-year-old from Ecuador, entered the country illegally in 2021 near Eagle Pass, Texas, police said.

He racked up an arrest in Texas and a handful of infractions in New York City before police say he cornered a pair of 13-year-olds in a Queens park, forced them into the woods at knifepoint, tied their wrists together with shoelaces and raped one of them. He allegedly stole their phones and told them to stay put for 20 minutes as he fled.

With help from the victims, police put out a sketch of the suspect. Then a local resident spotted him on surveillance video, which police also released.

A group of men at a deli in nearby Corona recognized him and pounced. Then they held him until police arrived, according to authorities.

Broad Daylight.... criminals just don't care anymore because liberals are so soft on crime. I remember what happened to the pervert that got caught peeping on my cousins at a camp shower facility in Florida while we were on vacation. He couldn't stand up when the police arrived, he was a bloody pulp. The police didn't ask one question on his condition.

The Ecuadorian migrant arrested Tuesday in the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl in a Queens park had been ordered to leave the US back in 2022, The Post has learned.

An immigration judge in New York City ordered Christian Geovanny Inga-Landi, 25, to leave the country on Feb. 2, 2022, according to Department of Homeland Security (DHS) sources.

Inga-Landi — who is set to be charged with rape for the horrific June 13 assault in Kissena Park — likely applied for some form of relief or appealed the removal ruling to remain in the US, the sources said.

He crossed the besieged US-Mexico border on June 25, 2021, with his son into Eagle Pass, Texas, where he was captured, processed and released by Border Patrol agents, according to the sources.

The cops should of just stood back and told the crowd he doesn't look done yet, then turned their backs to them and had a lively discussion about...anything for a good thirty minutes or so :whistle: I really don't think the POS should have ridden in anything but a coroners van after the good citizens were done. We need a whole lot less of pandering to violent animals and a whole lot more of
