It happened in Tustin, which is in Orange County, not Los Angeles County. George Gascon is not the DA of Orange County, BTW.

Yup OC Sheriff is a completely different animal and you can be sure the will be working with Tustin PD, who are no slouches either, on something like this. I hate to sound like a racist but there is a large Hispanic population in the area :shrug:

President Joe Biden was there for a star-studded fundraiser for his campaign
 
A member of the U.S. Secret Service was robbed at gunpoint Saturday night in California during President Joe Biden's high-profile fundraising swing.

 
Scripps News reported Monday that officers from the Tustin Police Department responded to a call and found that the victim was a member of the Secret Service who had fired off his own gun during the robbery.

It is unclear if the perpetrator was injured and by Monday afternoon the Tustin, California Police Department said it was still investigating the incident.

You know I have been thinking about this an considering the quality of SS agents lately I am leaning on this as bullshit, I bet the guy had a negligent discharge and made up a story about being robbed. Also if he was there to protect Biden at an event in Los Angeles WTF was  he doing in Tustin which is in Orange County?
