A prominent liberal publication has predicted a landslide victory for President Donald Trump in the upcoming 2024 U.S. presidential election, placing him in a clear lead over Democratic opponent Joe Biden. The forecast stands out notably because it comes from a source typically seen as favoring liberal viewpoints.

The Economist’s model integrates a variety of data sources, including state and national polls and economic indicators. It generates its predictions by running over 10,000 simulations of the election, taking into account potential shifts in voter preference and economic trends. As of Monday, the model gives President Trump a three-quarters chance of securing the electoral college victory required to retain his position in the White House.

The publication’s forecast also highlights several key states as crucial battlegrounds in determining the outcome of the election. Among these, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona, and Georgia are considered pivotal, with a collective worth of 77 electoral votes. Trump’s performance in these states is expected to be particularly strong, which could be decisive in the final count.

Personally, I think Trump supporters and his campaign are way too confident. My prediction is Joe isn't going to be the nominee and the DEMS will insert a strong nominee during the convention that's going to catch Trump and his campaign way off guard. 

Then, there's the issue of either incarcerating Trump and/or stealing another election.

There are several possibilities, and I won't be discounting any of them. Them not cheating isn't among the possibilities however.

We already have seen that in counties and States in terms of "voting population". In fact, it is a fairly standard outcome in most American elections that 'votes counted' exceeds 'votes cast'. Americans apparently cannot do simple math, when it comes to voting counts.

Whatever this equilibrium is between Republicans and Democrats, it has worked out to ... Democrats cheat, and Republicans let them cheat.

Why Republicans seem to embrace the Democrat vote cheat, is a mystery. They must be getting something they want from it. Money? Prestige? Who knows?

I've posted numerous times in this forum over the past few years about the growing power of The Party's underground and above-ground election apparatus.

So I agree with Bigun, about the cheating that went on last time (also from the apparatus), and what can and WILL happen THIS time around.

This is going to become VERY difficult for Republican election watchers to monitor and thwart come election day. They'd better be ready with an army of poll watchers and lawyers.

Couple that with what I sense will become a very close election to start with, and I still only see Mr. Trump with about 50-50 odds to win.

I make this observation as a "Trump partisan" in this forum.
I'd like for things to be more in his favor.
But I call 'em as I see 'em, and that's what I see here.
