I'll bet illegal immigrants, people on food stamps, people in jails and prisons, and people who eat ethnic food (I don't think bugs can be halal) won't be chowing down on tasty bugs, though I think the military is very vulnerable to this nonsense.

If people want to eat insects, I really don't care. To each his own.
It's just when people like Gates butt in and try to force them on us while denying us meat that I object.

Most townie women I know completely lose it if they see a nasty and disgusting bug within 50 feet of them. I can't see them ever going for this.
