Dem congressional candidate calls for Trump supporters to be sent to ‘reeducation’ camps
June 7, 2024 | Tom Tillison

It would be wise to pay attention when the left tells you who they are.

Democratic congressional candidate Paula Collins, who is running against U.S. Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) was busy getting her “MAGA” hate on during a Zoom townhall this week, boldly declaring that those who support former President Donald Trump need to be sent to a “re-education camp” after the 2024 election to get their minds right.

“Even if we were to have a resounding blue wave come through, as many of us would like, putting it all back together again after we’ve gone through this MAGA nightmare and re-educating basically, which, that sounds like a rather, a re-education camp. I don’t think we really want [to] call it that,” Collins said, according to Fox News. “I’m sure we can find another way to phrase it.”

This is from a candidate whose party has fully embraced the weaponization of the rule of law to target political opponents, up to and including the nation’s 45th president, Donald Trump. A party that seeks to jail those who threaten their hold on power — Peter Navarro, an ex-White House aide to Trump, sits in prison today, and a judge just ruled that another Trump aide, Steve Bannon, must begin his sentence on July 1. Both men were charged with contempt of Congress for not complying with former Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s one-sided, politically-motivated select committee seated to investigate the Jan. 6 protest at the U.S. Capitol.

Sure, it starts with re-education camps.  But then it quickly evolves into gulags, concentration camps, barbed wire, machine gun towers, cattle cars, and ovens.  These people are no different than the Stalinists and Hitlerites.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Libs, I don't need to be re-educated; leave me alone and stop trying to take my stuff.

It’s because of that attitude is precisely why you need reeducation

You will receive reeducation until you accept and embrace the joys of collectivism
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.
