Matt Gaetz endorses Bob Good's reelection bid in a break from Trump

lorida GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz endorsed fellow Republican Rep. Bob Good in his reelection bid in Virginia late Tuesday night, putting him at odds with former President Donald Trump, over his endorsement of Good's challenger John McGuire.

Trump endorsed McGuire last week, after criticizing Good who Trump said had supported him "too late." Good originally backed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for the Republican nomination for president.

Gaetz told his followers on X to "vote for Bob Good," as part of a repost of another "MAGA Republican" who called for support of Good over McGuire.

"I speak for all of MAGA when I say, we don't want another McCarthy plant in Congress," the other user posted last week. "We want Bob Good, one of the best legislators doing the people's work in that disgusting swamp."

Trump criticized Good last week, claiming the lawmaker was "bad for Virginia, bad for the USA."  .  .  .

Bob Good is one of the most Conservative members of Congress.  No wonder Trump opposes him.  If Good runs for President, he'll get my vote.

After earth shattering evidence of election fraud was uncovered in Lynchburg, the biggest city in Virginia's 5th Congressional District, Bob Good will be filling a lawsuit to halt the certification of the results until an audit & a hand count are conducted

So what happens if and when this McGuire decides to vote against Trump’s bloated spending plans or his disastrous tariffs for example? Or disagrees with Donald Trump that we can print our way out of a default? Or doesn’t agree with Trump that Planned Parenthood does some very good work?

He’ll be out of the MAGA club. Trump will rage on his so called TruthSocial how disloyal McGuire is and how he made his political career

If I was a paranoid soveriegn of the MAGA movement, I'd think Gaetz was making a play for the MAGA Throne.  Gaetz's disloyalty and betrayal to the MAGA King may get him kicked out of the MAGA Aristocracy.

The only reason that anybody would have to be against the likes of Bob Good is

A) You’re a liberal/Democrat/leftist
                       
              or



B) Someone might decide he’s “too conservative”  for their taste

              or

C) Because he didn’t show the proper loyalty to Donald Trump


Those are the only three reasons.Trumpers can’t say that he voted too often with Democrats on issues as a reason to oppose him because that honor goes more to Donald Trump
