Biden's Awkward Moments of Confusion in Normandy

Joe Biden was in Normandy to recognize the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

Biden was scheduled to speak at 6:30 ET, but the speeches started late, forcing the elderly veterans to wait.

When they recognized the veterans who were there, it was beautiful to see the faces of those who had given so much for the defense of freedom as they stood to receive their recognition from French leader Emmanuel Macron. Their faces were lit with emotion as they received the Legion of Honor.

Here they were earlier being greeted by Macron's wife when they arrived in France.

But this was pretty bad. Biden got confused as everyone else was standing. He seemed to want to sit, but he was in front of the chair, reaching for nothing.

He aggravated it again while rescuing Beau and Hunter from the back of his wife's burning station wagon that killed her and a baby.

Joe use to be a Fireman who drove the big ladder trucks so he knows fire.

Awkward moments?  How about the guy is toast.  Jill sat idly by as her husband clearly didn't know where he was or what he was doing.

Calls for him to step down need to continue until he's replaced.  Yes Kamel isn't going to be any better but I think at least she is aware of her surroundings and what her name is.  Oh, and yes, she can also make an awesome word salad.

My best guess is because of their work in “Band of Brothers”, they were invited.

Any footage they got of FJB at Normandy would not be flattering. Eye-opening, perhaps, but definitely not flattering.

That is what annoys me. Yes she wants to support her step son....yes she should be at a state dinner (heck somebody has to moniter Joey). But it shouldn't be on our dime, imho.
