BREAKING — Joe Biden has issued a statement in support of Convicted Felon Hunter Biden:

 “Jill and I love our son, and we are so proud of the man he is today. So many families who have had loved ones battle addiction understand the feeling of pride seeing someone you love come out the other side and be so strong and resilient in recovery. As I also said last week, I will accept the outcome of this case and will continue to respect the judicial process as Hunter considers an appeal. Jill and I will always be there for Hunter and the rest of our family with our love and support. Nothing will ever change that.”

I'm waiting to see what comes of Hunter's tax trials ... a magical adventure of following the Bidens' money ... possibly back to Rosemont Seneca and Rosemont Capital days and dealings.

Not sure they will risk another trial..I expect a plea deal...

Hunter might deserve to be in jail for something, but purchasing a gun is not it.

There are millions of marijuana users who own guns in this country, and none of them should be in jail for purchasing or possessing a firearm against current laws.

Remember, Biden’s Department of Justice tried to give Hunter a sweetheart plea deal until it blew up under questioning from the judge. DOJ then charged him with gun and tax crimes—not illegal foreign lobbying—to avoid exposing Joe Biden’s role in Hunter’s influence peddling. Hunter may be guilty of these crimes, but so are Joe Biden and DOJ of political corruption.

I'm intrigued by the process of laundering disinformation via the "conservative" media echo chamber.

Babylon Bee posts a BS article.

Some wannabe conservative Fox News book schiller, who is less disreputable than the original source, reposts it.

I presume a slightly less disreputable "conservative influencer" will repost it.

So, with each re-post, links of slightly greater reputability, are added to the chain of reputability in the hopes the disinformation goes viral or gets parrotted by mass media outlets.

So, a chain of multiple reposts launders the disinformation and washes off disreputability.

I'm intrigued by this dark social science of disinformation.  It's a more organized, mature, professional version of Howard Stern fans calling into live news broadcasts to punk the anchors and shout "Ba-Ba-Booey!".

So, the intent could be to have someone believe something untrue or to discredit reputable mass media outlets that make the mistake of parroti-ing an article originally sourced from the Babylon Bee.

Is Babylon Bee meant to be an online version of World Weekly News to supply click bait for advertisers or a foreign intelligence psyop designed to gum up and pervert social media algorithms to sow disinformation and distrust?

Is Babylon Bee an Internet version of the Jerky Boys, or something far more sinister?

Mass media is about maximizing profit via advertising to the maximum number of viewers or listeners.

As such, every headline or lead needs to use language that evokes an emotional response to draw in viewers and listeners.

The use of emotionally hyperbolic words and strategic formatting is key to attracting viewers and listeners within the first few syllables.

It's not misinformation per se because it's not blatantly false - the market is 2 points lower - but it is misrepresented information.

Not every 2 point stock market decline is the end of world, but, it's in mass media's profit interest to manufacture an outsized emotional response by using exaggerated stimuli to magnify the mundane.

One of the jurors in the Hunter Biden gun trial said the case was heart-wrenching, moments after the guilty verdict was handed down.

The 68-year-old juror from Sussex County, Delaware described the case to Fox News but said he didn't buy the defense's narrative that Hunter may have gone to a 7-Eleven to buy coffee — and said he thought he was probably buying crack-cocaine.

"Nobody is above the law, doesn't matter who you are," the juror said.

Prosecutors had suggested that Biden was trying to reach out and find drug dealers when he was arranging to meet someone at a Wilmington convenience store at 5 a.m. 7-Eleven was referenced in Biden's Oct. 15-16, 2018, text messages. Biden also wrote about the convenience store in his memoir, "Beautiful Things," explaining it was the type of place he would go to buy drugs.

But, the 2nd Amendment has absolutely no ambiguity.   "...SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED".

Joe Biden made the shock announcement Sunday night that he would issue a presidential pardon for his troubled son Hunter, calling his prosecution 'selective' and 'unfair.'

The bombshell U-turn decision comes just weeks after The White House denied the president would make the drastic move in the final months of his lame duck presidency. Biden, himself, said as recently as June that he would 'not pardon' his son.

'From the day I took office, I said I would not interfere with the Justice Department's decision-making, and I kept my word even as I have watched my son being selectively, and unfairly, prosecuted,' Biden said in a statement.

The president claimed that people are 'almost never brought to trial on felony charges solely for how they filled out a gun form.'

He then added: 'It is clear that Hunter was treated differently.'

Biden raged against 'several of my political opponents in Congress' who he claimed made the charges a public spectacle 'to attack me and oppose my election.'

He added that the plea deal Hunter agreed to with the Department of Justice was a 'fair, reasonable resolution of Hunter's cases.' But that deal fell through at the last minute under political pressure.

'No reasonable person who looks at the facts of Hunter's cases can reach any other conclusion than Hunter was singled out only because is my son - and that is wrong,' he continued.
