That quote was from a meet and greet, and he was talking to a kid that was on some sort of committee, she was maybe 20.  He asked her if she was on that committee 4 years previously and she said she was.  She could not have told the truth because she would not have been old enough!

Yup!  Shortbus Joe actually spoke the truth when he called her a "lying dog-face pony soldier!"
