A number of Democratic Party strategists are predicting defeat in the heated race against former President Trump, according to a new report.

"You don’t want to be that guy who is on the record saying we’re doomed, or the campaign’s bad or Biden’s making mistakes," a Democratic operative speaking anonymously told Politico. "Nobody wants to be that guy."

"This isn’t, ‘Oh my God, Mitt Romney might become president.’ It’s ‘Oh my God, the democracy might end,'" they said, adding that Biden's low polling numbers have contributed to a "freakout" among Biden supporters.

A recent Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll found Trump leading Biden in seven key swing states — Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Biden won every one of those states but North Carolina in 2020 and they were decisive to his victory.................

Trump can win the 2024 Presidential Election ... even if he is criminally convicted.  Biden is that bad (for the unwashed deplorable masses).

Biden's 2024 Campaign is based mostly on fear of Trump and Republicans.

Know what Americans fear more?  Rising costs of shelter, food, utilities/energy, etc., and providing for illegal immigrants (leads to higher local and state taxes).

Biden is wrong, wrong, wrong.  Why would the American people want to save a "democracy" that ignores the needs of its citizens?

I think what’s bugging you is that for many of us, this election is about the issues.For you, and many like you, its about loyalty to one man


You have many post complaining about how much everything cost. Yet when we try to explain to you why that is and what would need to be  done to really bring those costs down, you either dismiss our lesson or say that it cant be done because it will upset voters.



I know you’ll never admit this, but  if everything was the same between 2017 to 2021, but instead of President Trump it was Biden, you would be making the same complaints we are


Could Trump win? Sure. But it’s still early in the campaign yet for anybody to be making any predictions. And neither one of these candidates is going to be easy for the other to beat as they both have very high negatives

It appears the race is now Trump's to lose. It certainly is within the realm of possibility that he will piss it away with some foolish act, but it is hard yo imagine what that might be, given that the electorate has seen and forgiven so much from Trump already.

I do not think Biden can pull this out without unprecedented elction fraud on a scale we have not seen before, or a Trump misstep.

Two things to remember; the DEMS stole the last election and they are very capable of stealing another.  With the sentiment of the DEMS worried about Biden losing (which at this point I believe is hype) they will insert someone else at the DNC convention.

too early for me to call this election - just a feeling, but I think some of the  support for Trump is "soft", but a conviction would firm it up some, a boomerang effect. As for democracy, it's a terrible system in its purist form.
