From the start, Tania Fernandes Anderson stated her goal for City Council was to create a 'revolution' for 'equity'

EXCLUSIVE – A Democratic Boston city council member, who called to "dismantle the White backdrop" in America and "create a revolution," is starting to disturb her liberal colleagues with her wild antics and threats, according to a source who spoke with Fox News Digital.

The source is a city hall employee, who requested anonymity because council member Tania Fernandes Anderson has created an "unhealthy" environment. The employee believes Fernandes Anderson is a "troubled person," who uses accusations of racism to get people to fall in line. The source discussed the challenges of having someone in the city's government who has been – in their view – hostile, verbally abusive and antisemitic.

"People are intimidated by her. And that intimidation does work," the source said. They said some members would give into her because "no one want to disagree with Tania because she's unpredictable."

Fernandes Anderson was elected in November 2021, and is self-described as "the first formally undocumented African born immigrant & first Muslim elected in the city of Boston."

That means a majority of people elected her

My problem is is when they take the ghetto with them into public office

Tania Fernandes Anderson, a woke BLM Muslim former illegal migrant Democrat serving on the Boston City Council, has been arrested by the FBI after being indicted on five counts of aiding and abetting wire fraud and one count of aiding and abetting theft concerning a program receiving federal funds.

She allegedly hired a family member and funneled taxpayer funds to the person for which she would get cash kickbacks. They allegedly exchanged large sums of cash in the bathroom at Boston City Hall. Ms Fernandes Anderson made $115,000 a year on the city council.  ...

BOSTON — A Boston city councilor was arrested by FBI agents Friday morning after she was indicted in an alleged kickback scheme that netted her thousands of dollars in cash from a staffer in exchange for a large bonus.

Councilor Tania Fernandes Anderson, 45, represents District 7 in Boston, which includes Roxbury, Dorchester, Fenway and part of the South End.

5 Investigates was outside her Dorchester home Friday when FBI agents placed her under arrest at about 6 a.m.

According to court documents, Fernandes Anderson faces five federal counts of wire fraud and one federal count of theft concerning programs receiving federal funds.

"These six felony charges stem from an alleged kickback scheme that she orchestrated to obtain several thousand dollars in taxpayer money in exchange for a bribe she paid to a staffer who she gave a very large bonus," U.S. Attorney Joshua Levy said.

Fernandes Anderson was going to use the money from the scheme to pay a fine issued following an ethics investigation, Levy said.  ...

Nope.

I don't blame her.  Make the Feds prove your guilt to a jury before making the decision to leave office.

There are so many damned political prosecutions, assert your innocence until proven guilty.

With all the corrupt Massachusetts politicians, it's amazing the Feds only go after the black or minority ones.  I guess the Old Boys Club does that to keep up the appearance that they take prosecuting public corruption seriously.

Too Radical for even the FBI... don't worry, she will land on her feet and run some branch of Antifa in the future. Heck, if not against the rules, the locals in her district will reelect her for round two.
