A must watch.....
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Bump.

Y'all should put this in your arsenal of resources for anyone who comes at you with the Chicken Little narrative.

This is from a parody account, so rest assured the tweeter is joking about demanding justice for Greta. I have to say, though, that young Greta more resembles a sack of potatoes than a bag of beans.

Whilst blocking the entrance to the Swedish parliament, Greta Thunberg was manhandled like a bag of beans then thrown into a paddy wagon! I’m shaking. Justice for Greta!

What gets lost, is that the opportunity cost of "fighting/stopping/reversing" Global Climate Change is that those resources are not available to help us adapt to Climate Change.
"Political correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it’s entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end." - Alan Simpson, Frontline Video Interview

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.

You have touched on the essential fallacy of the Climate Cult.

In the event that humans are just along for the ride, climate wise (as I have suspected all along, because the climate has changed over the history of the planet without any human help) all that will be accomplished by divesting humanity of the very resources needed to adapt and survive whatever Nature throws our way, will be to lessen the chances of humans surviving. In the meantime, other animals will relocate or adapt to their new environmental niches (even the bugs we are supposed to eat).
How God must weep at humans' folly! Stand fast! God knows what he is doing!
Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
